Introducing the next generation Hydra-Pulse 235 - a continuous non-contact water level measurement sensor that is versatile, easy to use and program. Installation is simple and since the sensor measurement is non-contact (installed above the water) accurate water level measurements can be taken even in flood conditions without possibility of damage to the sensor. The new Hydra-Pulse 235 has a proven mean time between failure (MTBF) of more than 50 years, and is the most accurate in the industry with a measure- ment accuracy of 2mm up to 115 ft (35 m). The Hydrological Services HART to SDI-12 / Modbus Interface allows any 4-20mA HART device to be connected to an SDI-12 Data Logger and/or an RS485 Modbus RTU providing the best accuracy available from the HART protocol.

All the features of the HartBeat with additional high quality LCD display. The Hydrological Services HART to SDI-12 Interface allows any 4-20mA HART device to be connected to an SDI-12 Data Logger and/or an Analog RTU providing the best accuracy available from the HART protocol.

In continuous non-contact level measurement with radar, the sensor sends microwave signals towards the water from above. The surface of the water reflects the signals back in the direction of the sensor. Using the received microwave signals, the sensor determines the distance to the product surface and calculates the level from it.

The adjustment of the Hydra-Pulse is carried out via the display module or via a PC with the adjustment software PACTware and corresponding DTM. Further adjustment options are possible via a HART Communicator such as the HartBeat and HartBeat Plus
