Meanwhile, AcuDose-Rx cabinets integrate the systems, service, and support needed to keep the medication-use process running smoothly—at a manageable cost that fits within your long-term strategic vision.

TabViewNavigation. Nurses will quickly find what they need because smart tabs organize patient medications into Scheduled, STAT, PRN, and All Orders views.

DispenseByTime. This exclusive feature—through integration with the clinical order—enables nurses to view actual medication due times. Not only is this the safest method for dispensing scheduled doses, but nurses can better organize patient med passes safely and on time. This feature is ideal for patients with irregular dosing schedules.

ClosedLoopAdministration. Available exclusively in AcuDose-Rx, both nursing and pharmacy for the first time will have an accurate record of when a patient’s medications are dispensed from a cabinet and when they are administered. This feature is enabled by cabinet-to-bar-code medication administration system integration.

FastEntry™Biometrics. This single-touch, secure logon lives up to its name because no secondary ID—password or ID badge scan—is necessary. Plus, you can enroll multiple fingerprints for each individual.

RobustReporting. Report generation just got simpler. More than 70 standard reports are ready to run out of the box from any networked station. Re-run common reports without re-entering all parameters, and use everyday terms (“last 7 days”, “yesterday,” etc.) to quickly enter dates.

FlexibleStorage. AcuDose-Rx offers the smartest choices for storing medications, with multiple options to address patient needs while balancing safety, accessibility and economy. Each AcuDose-Rx main cabinet accommodates up to 15 drawers—the most on the market—with three security levels. In fact, AcuDose-Rx has room for more secure line items than any other cabinet.
