Waterloo• Students cannot see where their peers have

worked• No solution for allowing professional students

to network

• LinkedIn: Not suitable for students.– You can usually network with others only if you

know them.– Have to send connection requests

• Facebook: Too broad.– Usually used by students to keep in touch– Does not actively help in networking– Have to send friend requests

• No connections/friend requests required• Lets the user see where everyone has worked• Allows students to network regardless of

whether they know each other, as long as they have similar interests
