Note-
Some crops and acreages were changed from the original proposal due to seed availability. Triticale and winter peas were not available and were substituted with orchard grass and hairy vetch.
Pasture 1 -August 23 - Cattle grazing one week prior to grazing
August 30 - Planting Daikon Radish, Annual Ryegrass, Hairy Vetch
September 8 - Radish, Vetch and Ryegrass have sprouted

October 8 - The growth of the seeded crops varied greatly with the quality of the soil and the ground cover.

Pasture 2 -September 3 - The public and members of Granite State Graziers were invited to view a demonstration of the Kasco No-Till Seeder
November 10 - Thirteen weaned calves were turned in to Pasture 3. Growth was poor for existing grass and the new plantings in areas of compaction from years of horse grazing. Growth was good in areas of concentrated horse manure where the horses did not graze.

September 7 - Turnips and clover sprouting in wet area disturbed by cattle and sheep
September 23 - Trampled area near waterer
October 2 - Crimson clover had better growth in the existing sod
October 15 - Turnips grew better in disturbed areas and cattle trails, than in sod
October 28 - Turnips grew best in old manure paddies
October 30 - Cattle turned in to Pasture 3. Good growth without existing sod
