***Unfortunately after the blended mobility most of our physical caches got lost and
we are still working to have our trails properly published in www.geocaching.com
Multicache del agua
1. Frontil (patos)
Coordenadas: N 37º 10´ 38.928” W 4º 7´ 56.9388”
Water cache trail draft
1. Frontil (patos)
Coordenates: N 37º 10´ 38.928” W 4º 7´ 56.9388”
Proposal: we have chosen this place because of the shallow depth of the water. We have thought of placing a cache under the stones that are sticking to the railing where the water flows.
2. Don Pedro fountain
Coordenates: N 37º 10´ 29.6184” W 4º 8´ 1.4496”
Proposal: here we have thought of placing a physical cache located in a small cave that is right next to the water source.
3. Los Infiernos viewpoint
Coordenates: N 37º 10´ 15.1428” W 4º 7´ 38.4852”
Proposal: here we have decided to place a physical cache under the viewpoint.
4. Plaza de Abajo
Coordenates: N 37º 10´ 0.5376” W 4º 9´ 1.1952”

Proposal: here we have two proposals as follows: the first is a physical cache that will be placed behind the Gate of the Jaufín, you simply have to put your hand behind it through the grids and will be placed on the floor; The second proposal is for foreigners to enter the library, look for a book related to Loja and within that they look for which is the most representative lojeña figure in Easter (censers). Once they have found it, they will have to say the Answer to the librarian, and if the answer is correct, this woman will give them a paper with the coordinates of the 25 pipes.
5. 25 pipes fountain
Coordenates: N 37º 10´ 3.1404” W 4º 9´ 17.9028”
Proposal: here we have thought of putting a physical cache on the pipes very well
hidden or in a hole that is on the wall.
6. Moco fountain
Coordenates: N 37º 9´ 58.1436” W 4º 9´ 0.9252”
Proposal: here we have decided to put a physical cache in the censer that is next to the fountain, and when we say in the censer, we mean to put it inside it, we speak of a
magnetic cache, so that it will be quite difficult to find it. we want to add that this cache is one of the most enthusiastic proposals that we present.
7. Plaza Arriba
Coordenates: N 37º 9´ 58.4362” W 4º 9´ 4.8888”
Proposal: here we are not sure about what to do, because, this is the last one and we’d like to increase the degree of difficulty. We still have ideas in mind such as the following: ask questions about the Church of the Incarnation, such as sentence that is written on the facade, the number of bells that that church has, etc. We can also ask what the name of the man that is located in the statue in the center of that square is, or some question related to it. On the other hand, there is also the option of putting a physical cache where the water falls or somewhere in the square which may be quite difficult to find.
Finally, we want to add that the physical caches will be all micro to increase the
difficulty. We also want to point out the following: if the Rosco de Loja is finally
distributed in Bonachera instead of in Santa Teresa bakery, the order in the search for
caches will be altered, being that of the Plaza Arriba the penultimate one and the one
of the Fuente del Moco the last one (personally, we do not care about the site). And to
finish saying that we put all those proposals on the table and then you can modify any
aspect you consider unsuitable or improvable.
MULTICACHE MIRADORES
PRIMER MIRADOR: Hotel Mirador 37º 09, 938N 004º 09, 239W
La pista será The thirsty-year-old
man.
The Of Cache Bank
Location Next That No
The Under Nothing Missed
Is You Useless End
Behind Stop Careless Meaningless
La pista será The X points the place.
037W
La pista será You are at Boabdil’s castle, so you are at his feet. No será difícil deducir
wife is crying. I won’t leave rock to lift to comfort her.
cache.
FINAL: Alcazaba, recinto del museo 37º 10,361N 004º 08,940W
Hay que hablarlo con Cultura: Dos reinos

37º10, 040N 004º 09, 037W
The true will be “You are at Boabdil's castle”, so you are at his feet. It will not be difficult to deduce the location, so we will put a second clue in Boabdil’s foot, which will say “My wife is crying”. I will not leave rock to lift her comfort. The studentsmust return to the statue of Moraima crying and look under a stone the coordinates of the next cache.

VIRTUAL GEOCACHING IN GRANADA
ITINERARY TO SEARCH FOR THE CACHEs
1. Starting point of the tour: Granada cathedral.
We start our tour in the most religious and social core of Granada, an outstanding place since the city conquer by the Catholic Kings. The cathedral was built where the Mayor Mosque in the Muslim times was founded.
1) What is its architectural style? a. Elizabethan-Gothic b. Baroque c. Mudejar

a. Pedro de Machueca b. Miguel Ángel c. Alonso Cano
2. The Royal Chapel is at one side of the Cathedral and you can have access to it through both the inside and outside of this. It is where the Catholic Kings’ son and daughter, Elizabeth I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon, are buried. The architecture is Elizabethan-Gothic, especially remarkable for the abundance of ornaments in the crestings and pinnacles.
1) In the first part of the crestings, you can see the heraldic motifs allusive to the kings, who are buried there, in the
a. Flowers and jars b. The initial letters of the
Catholic king and queen c. Angels and demons
2) There, apart from the remains of Isabel I of Castile and Ferdinand the Catholic, there are also those of
a. Their daughter Joanna the Mad and her husband Phillip the handsome and Miguel da Paz, prince of Portugal and grandson of the Catholic Kings
b. The infants of Aragon c. Boabdil, last Muslim king.
3) On top of the remains of Isabel I of Castile and Fernando II of Aragon that lie here, there are also: a. those of her daughter Juana the mad and those of her husband, the beautiful Felipe, as well as those of the infant Miguel of the Peace of Portugal, grandson of the Catholic kings. b. The infants of Aragon. c. Boabdil
3. In Plaza Nueva, one of the most important and bustling places of Granada
there is a Renaissance palace. The Catholic kings created the royal audience and “Chancilleria” and established it as a judicial body. After the conquest of the city of Granada it was decided to locate in this city. It was the first building that was built to house a court of law.
1) On the sides of the large central
balcony, seated in the pediment appear:
a. .A statue of the kings. b. Justice and fortress under
the royal shield. c. The virgin of the anguish.
2) The cover is a semicircular arch surrounded by Corinthian columns on pedestals. Above the columns there is a straight fronton with an inscription.
a. Felipe II and the date of construction of the building.
b. The prisoners who were executed in 1492.
c. a poem by Garcia Lorca
4. In front of the “chancilleria”, there is a fountain. The pillar was attached to a
house, in the place where a small square opened, in front of a guest house. It was used as an animal trough and water supply for the neighbors of the neighborhood.
1) Its name refers to an animal that is
represented by: a. a gazelle’s head. b. a dog’s head. c. a bull’s head.
2) The frontis is finished with a triangular cornice in whose center it emphasizes:
a. The shield of the city of Granada
b. a crucifix. c. a wreath of flowers
5. Going up the hill Gomerez to Alhambra and before come into the most important Granada’s forest we arrive at triumphal arch-door that P. Machuca built to commemorate the arrival of Carlos V to Granada.
1) The name of the door is due to
a. Two allegories of peace. b. Three grenades decorating
the lintel. c. Two angels in procession.
2) The triangular eardrum
represents a coat of arms of the Emperor Charles V that supports:
a. Two savages. b. Two allegories: of peace and
abundance. c. Two faeries faucets.
6. W
e come into Alhambra’s forest; we’ll reach the heart of the Muslim Granada, palatal city of the nazarí kingdom, the last Islamic stronghold in the Iberian peninsula. The gateway The Gate of Justice, Bad al-Sharia, is one of the four gates than give entrance to the palatial site of the Alhambra.
1) In this door they emphasize some of the most well-known symbols of the culture alhambreña in the great arc of the facade.
a. A colossal giant. b. An open hand with your
forearm and a tasseled key. c. A commemorative
inscription.
2) To reach the other side of the door,
you have to cross four inner corners which are covered by vaults:
a. of edges b. semicircular c. lobed
7. Already inside the enclosure we are in the Alhambra. It is a group of
palaces, gardens and fortress that housed a true citadel within the city of Granada itself that served like lodging to the monarch and to the court of the Nazarí Kingdom of Granada. Its true appeal, as in other Muslim works of the time, lies not only in the interiors, whose decoration is among the summits of Andalusian art, but also in its location and adaptation, generating a new landscape but totally integrated with the preexisting nature.
In the same center of the enclosure we go to the Palace of Charles V. Called this way because it was built at the beginning as the residence of Emperor Charles. His architect was Pedro de Machuca in 1542. His style is renaissance. Is located next to the Nazarí Palace of Comares, what supposes a great contrast with the Islamic architecture of the surroundings.
1) In all the perimeter of the building they emphasize some rings of bronze with a decorative function:
a. 5 gold rings b. 40 bronze rings c. 100 stone rings
2) On the front door, in the pediment are:
a. Two reclining woman winged statues
b. The horse of the emperor c. A virgin
LUGARES PINTORESCOS I, II AND III
The Erasmus teams taking part in the blended mobility let us know they were arriving
and leaving on different days. Therefore, the Spanish teachers decided to create three
different caches for our students and their guest. They would have something to do on
those days when only some of the team were in our town.

***The caches that we produced for our blended mobility have had to be completely
revised and some are being changed since most of them were lost after the noisy
search of our Erasmus teams. As soon as they are published properly, we’ll send our
partners the correct coordenates and information.
2. CACHES THAT OUR TEAMS HAVE TRIED TO FIND. HERE YOU HAVE SOME
EXAMPLES.
“La cueva de las dos columnas”: found
Mirador de los infiernos: not found
Mirador de los infiernos
One of our students went on holidays with his family to Italy and they were
geocaching.
During Easter our students went geocaching and took a quite picture which was
of the pics that won one of our Twinspace contests.
Our students’ parents are also interested in geocaching and some have even
tried.
3. OUR BLOG.
It was created by the students and they have been in charge of updating it.
Nowadays they have decided to turn it into a weebly which they consider more
attractive and dynamic. Hopefully it will be finished by the end of July.
https://moraimaerasmus.wordpress.com/
4. ERASMUS CORNER AT SCHOOL.
It is a noticeboard full of colours and information about the state of arts of our
projects. It is updated almost every week.

blog/
5. VIDEOS OF OUR TOWN AND OUR SCHOOL.

6. SPANISH BLENDED MOBILITY.
Undoubtly, the most outstanding output for us this year has been to organize the
first blended mobility of the project. In April, from 22nd to 29th, 26 students and 11
teachers came to our town and we shared a whole week of geocaching, working
and social activitites.
Our accomplished activity program is the best proof of the great work our students,
host families and teachers have done.
https://moraimaerasmus.wordpress.com/2017/04/08/timetable/
Some of the work done before and during this week is summarized in some pictures:
welcoming event with music and presents, trips, geocaching trails, working sessions,
evaluation of the project, etc.:

7. COOPERATION WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES
We consider an essential output the fact that we have been able to involve actively in
our project local institutions and authorities.
Certainly, our project and the innovative topic of “Geocaching” has caught on and our
Town Hall representative for tourism is involved in our project from the very
beginning. Cooperation with the local tourist office is a reality and it will continue
during and after the end of our project.
It has been also easy to find interest and cooperation in some other private
associations and companies which have become active collaborator during our
blended mobility: ALCI, the local business association, Bonachera, one of the best
bakeries in town and Peña Flamenca, the local association for Flamenco.
Local media have shown their interest in our project too and the different activities
done have appeared in newspapers and online networks like facebook.
https://moraimaerasmus.wordpress.com/2017/07/03/cooperation-with-local-
authorities-and-associations/
8. DIFFUSION IN OUR SCHOOL.
Among other activities to get students involved in the project, such as the logo contest,
the welcome event, decoration of our school for the blended mobility, our students
have taught how to become “cachers” to their younger partners in the 2º Year of ESO
groups. The team designed a couple of powerpoint presentations to teach how to get
ready for geocaching and afterwards, these groups, 90 students, went to the
mountain to look for our caches. One of the most successful experiences this year in
our school. https://moraimaerasmus.wordpress.com/2017/05/
9. SUMMER GEOCACHING EXPERIENCE .
The students living in the nearby villages, Ventorros de San José and Zagra have created and
published a multicache based on the French model. The idea is to collect information in the
different caches to finally get a typical recipe of a local dish.
As soon as possible we’ll go on a geocaching trip to search for them and try the real dish in a
typical restaurant. Parents will be invited to take part in this experience.
