Specific Purpose: To share with my audience the ways to lead people for a better life through the

movies.

Central Idea: Movies have their own attractions that send messages to the audience.

Introduction

1. Sometimes did you ever feel not satisfied when watching some movies? The introduction

is boring, the plot of the story is difficult to understand as well as suspended ending.

2. We have chosen three parts from three different movies that we change the plot to make it

more interesting and we think it can be applied in real life.

3. The movies are:

a) Spider-man

b) 3 Idiots

c) Confessions of a Shopaholic

4. We choose this topic because we think that it can expose the audience to the real life

situation and for them to make the best decision based on the same situation that will

happen in the future.

5. We would like to inform you that we had learned something from this movie, so we also

hope that you can gain something that is beneficial.

(Transition: Let’s proceed to our first movie)

Body

1. The first movie is Spider-man;

It stars Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker, a high-school student who turns to crime fighting

after developing spiderlike powers, along with Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin, Kirsten

Dunst as Peter's love interest, and James Franco as his best friend.( Spider-Man. (2011,

a) At the first time, Mary Jane express herself that she loves Peter Parker more than

a friend but Peter Parker refuse to be her soul mate. He prefers to be her friend.

This is the dialogue:-

Peter Parker : I want you to know, that I will always be there for you; I will

always be there to take care of you. I promise you that. I will

always be your friend.

Mary Jane : Only a friend, Peter Parker?

Peter Parker : That's all I have to give.

b) The change that we made to this part is Peter Parker should admit from the

beginning that he loves Mary Jane and wants her to be his girlfriend.

Peter Parker : I want you to know, that I will always be there for you; I will

always be there to take care of you. I promise you that. I will

always be your soul mate.

Mary Jane : Thanks for everything.

Peter Parker : Yes, of course you are the one that I love.

c) From this movie, we conclude that we need to tell the truth on everything. If we

had something that is difficult to share with others, we should express it because

maybe from some words we can change everything and it may touch others

feelings.
