OUTDOOR HEAT PUMPS

Outdoor Heat PumpsThe diagram above illustrates the way in which a heat

pump transfers and upgrades heat form the outside air to

the pool water. The heat pump technology offers an

extremely efficient method of pool water heating which

does not rely upon the sunshine, just air!

Calorex heat pumps are manufactured to suit a large variety

of applications. The ‘Ambient’ range will heat the pool

water throughout a typical UK summer season, operating

when the outside temperature is above 7 degrees centigrade.

Models 631-1531 incorporate an internal by-pass facility.

The ‘10X’ range, with a more comprehensive design, offers

an extended season usage. This model continues to operate

even when the outside air temperature is as low as zero

degrees centigrade. The ‘10X’ range also incorporates an

internal by-pass system which allows for a range of pool

water flow rates.

The ‘Y’ range is similar to the ‘10X’ model, but will still

operate when the outside temperature drops to -15 degrees

centigrade thus offering 12 months usage. This range

provides efficient All-year heating for both indoor and

outdoor pools.

QualityCalorex units are built to last and have been supplied to the

swimming pool industry for decades. Thousands of Calorex

units have been successfully operating in some thirty

countries. The choice of materials for the components is

aimed at a long reliable life. The cabinets are steel, first

galvanised and then plastic coated to provide resilient

protection against external elements. Pool water heat

exchangers are of high quality to ensure maximum

resistance to pool chemical corrosion. Models 631-1531

include a titanim heat exchanger with a five year warranty.

Each unit is thoroughly tested and inspected and must meet

a precise performance standard before leaving the factory!

The Calorex factory and products are approved to several

internationally accepted standards of quality and safety. All

Calorex equipment is fully guaranteed and dispatched

complete with comprehensive instructions.
