› welcome

Hello and welcome to your new 2015 programme. We have an abundance of activities for you to choose from as well as changes to our regular activities.

During our previous members review meeting many of you advised us that you would prefer the pub times to change, feeling that it was too late for you to be travelling home alone at 10:30pm. You have decided that you would like the pub evening to run from 8pm until 10pm; obviously this has an impact on Change4Life each month which will also run earlier. We have found that the prices of all theatre trips have gone up a lot in the past year and although we have been extremely lucky in the West End shows available to us this may not be the case in the future. We have decided that it is best to ask your opinion on the options that we have available to us. We have enclosed a questionnaire which we are kindly asking you to complete and return to us, so that we are able to assess the future of these activities. We would like to thank all of our fantastic team of staff and volunteers. Without their, support, hard work and dedication we would not have been able to witness the expanding membership figures and the relationship that have formed as a result of this. We would like to also congratulate and welcome Colin Walters to our staffing team. Colin started volunteering for Uniting Friends in the summer of 2013; he has now accepted a permanent position within both our day and evening services, so as of January you will all now see a lot more of him.

Finally it’s time to take a look through your programme and see what is on offer to you.

Happy New Year everyone.
