Entrance Hymn Come let us bow down to Christ as we worship Him the Son of God. Save us O Son of God, Who did rise from the dead; we sing to You: Alleluia.

Resurrectional Apolytikion Tone Seven (Plagal Three)

By Your Cross, O Lord, You destroyed death; To the thief You opened Paradise. The myrrh bearers' sorrow You transformed into joy, And You sent Your Apostles forth to proclaim That You had risen from the dead, Christ our God Bestowing on all the world Your great mercy.

Apolytikion for the Saint

With the rivers of your tears you made the barren desert bloom; and with your sighs from deep within, you made your labors bear their fruits a hundredfold; and you became a star, illuminating the world by your miracles, O Chariton our devout father. Intercede with Christ our God, for the salvation of our souls

Church Hymn (Troparion of Pentecost)

Blessed are You O Christ our God Who has shown the fishermen as wise men By sending down Your Holy Spirit upon them And through them, the whole world You drew into Your net O Lover of mankind, glory to You.

Kontakion

A protection of Christians unshamable, Intercessor to our Holy Maker unwavering. Reject not the prayerful cries of those who are in sin. Instead come to us for you are good; Your loving help bring unto us, Who are crying in faith to you; Hasten now to intercede and speed now to supplicate As a protection for all time, Theotokos, for those who honor you.

THE CONFESSION OF FAITH (Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed)

I believe in one God, Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages;

Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not created, of one essence with the Father through

Whom all things were made.

Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became man.

He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried;

And He rose on the third day, according to the Scriptures.

He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father;

And He will come again with glory to judge the living and dead. His kingdom shall have no end.

And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Creator of life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who together with

the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified,

Who spoke through the prophets.

In one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.

I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the age to come. Amen.

EPISTLE READING: St. Paul's Second Letter to the Corinthians 6:1-10 BRETHREN, working together with him, then, we entreat you not to accept the grace of God in vain. For he says, "At the acceptable time I have listened to you, and helped you on the day of salvation." Behold, now is the accepta-ble time; behold, now is the day of salvation. We put no obstacle in any one's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry, but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: through great endurance, in afflic-tions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, tumults, labors, watching, hunger; by purity, knowledge, for-bearance, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love, truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; in honor and dishonor, in ill repute and good repute. We are treat-ed as impostors, and yet are true; as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as punished, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet pos-sessing everything.

GOSPEL READING: Luke 5:1-11

Stewardship 2014-2015

Dear Parishioners,

September marks the beginning of the ecclesiastical year. The new church year brings excitement

as our ministries continue to grow and multiply.

Our individual stewardship of time, talent and treasure provide the foundation of our service to

Christ, His ministries and the operation of His Church. As of September 22, we are pleased that

412 families have made a financial commitment totaling $563,347.53 with $387,057.64 collected to

date. The 2014 stewardship budget is $600,000.

As the new calendar year approaches, the Parish Council is preparing the 2015 budget which will

be presented at the November General Assembly. Your Stewardship Committee has completed

the 2015 stewardship materials which will be mailed to each family during the first week of

October.

October 26, 2014 has been designated as Stewardship Sunday. Immediately following Divine

Liturgy a luncheon will be hosted by Father Bill, and members of the Parish Council and

Stewardship Committee. We encourage all to remain and celebrate as one family as we commit

our time, talent and treasure to His Church.

You may make your reservations for the luncheon during Coffee Hour, by emailing the church at

[email protected] or by calling the church at 317-733-3033.

In His Service,

The Holy Trinity Stewardship Committee
