It is with immense sense of pride that I welcome you to the MIIM campus for student placements
2019-20. MIIM, a sister concern of Marian College, Kuttikkanam which is NAAC accredited with
A grade, is one of the few B-Schools in Kerala accredited by the National Board of Accreditation
(NBA). Our fully residential MBA program holds classes from 8.30 am to 8 pm. In fact, it’s a
beehive that never sleeps. The capabilities of our students outperform the academic training
envisaged by MG University, Kottayam. In continuation of quality enhancement measures, a
wide variety of add-on enrichment courses, seminars and workshops are offered to the students
to excel in the path of rapid changes and transition taking place as a result of the technology,
increasing migration and interconnectedness.

I hope your business is doing great!. I am pleased to convey that a batch of highly talented
young men and women is ready to take up challenging responsibilities of the corporate world.
Our final placement process, to be scheduled in December 2019, provides an opportunity to hire
our graduating students full-time. You can also meet our graduating students who have prior
work experience through our lateral placement process which is connected through WhatsApp
group “MIIM Alumni Association”. Our MIIM admission process is quite rigorous and highly
competitive. Our curriculum requires these highly motivated and bright students to undergo
mandatory courses in the first year. Once they successfully complete the first year, they undergo
an internship to learn from corporate life. After completing their internships, these students are
allowed to choose a variety of electives in their second year. Many students choose electives
to pursue their industry-specific and/ or disciplinary interests. Besides academics, students also
learn from their vibrant community life on campus. They manage and take part in a number of
co-curricular and extracurricular activities which provides them opportunities to grow beyond
classrooms. Over the last few years we have taken several initiatives to enhance the global
flavor of our flagship program. We now have student exchange partnerships with 3 business
schools across Asia. Last year 7 of our students visited our partner schools. We also received
accreditation from NBA. All these initiatives convey our commitment to help our students
develop global mindset and be better prepared for a globalized world of business. I invite you to

discussion on “Issues and Challenges in Banking and Finance” was conducted
Training on Financial Services Products Finance club provides practical training for students to sell financial services products like mutual fund, wealth management
products, loans, Demat account opening, services of PAN card, etc. Training on NISM certificate courses. Finex arranged training

Mercado The Marketing Club MMC 2k18-Real-time Marketing Challenge - As part of extending its marketing support to nearby budding MSMEs, the club launched
its first consultancy services with this game. It is a multi-stage marketing team game in which the participating teams were given
different real-time marketing requirements of its clients. The overall aim of the game is to enhance the industry linkage of the

Mock Interview
A one to one model of interview is conducted after the workshop by Emmanuel Braggs
from Pune, This process is made mandatory for all the students so as to understand the
areas that the students need to improve. Also students will get a practical idea about
the process of an interview. The entire interview process is recorded in a video camera
which is later shared with students, this helps to correct themselves.

Aptitude Training
Aptitude Tests assesses students logical reasoning and thinking ability. They consist of
multiple choice questions and are held as proper exams. The tests are strictly timed.
Students are given training on areas like Verbal ability, numerical ability, Abstract rea-
soning, Spatial Reasoning, etc Aptitude training specialist Mr. Paulachan gives training
on aptitude and is organized on weekly basis.

Industry analysis helps students in understanding a company’s position relative to other
