Our Vision
1
Our School aims to provide value based educaon with innovave teaching and
learning methods so that our students grow up into aesthecally rich intellectually
aware and completely responsible individuals who will be capable of fulfilling their
dreams and strengthen the society. We intend our educaonal process, to be the
cuers who polish raw stones into gliering mulfaceted diamonds.
Our Alma Mater

Do not give them a candle to light the way, teach them how to make fire instead.
Model School, Rohtak a self financed unaided, private school with the moo, "Knowledge is Power"
was established in the year 1952 by the Deputy Commissioner of Rohtak Shri H.D. Shourie, I.A.S. from a
humble beginning with 4-5 children and one member of staff. The school now has around 4000
students on its roll with an ideal teacher taught rao.
The school is run by a registered society under the guidance of an Execuve Commiee with Deputy
Commissioner of Rohtak as its Ex-Officio Chairman. The link between the school and the Execuve
Commiee is maintained through an Honourary Secretary who is always available to the Principal for
beerment of the school. Under the able guidance of the Deputy Commissioner; Rohtak, our school
has progressed by leaps and bounds and is one of the most sought aer academic desnaons in
Haryana.

“Learning is not the outcome of decree; it is rather
the result of comprehensive parcipaon in a
meaningful surrounding”. People learn best by being
“with it”, yet school makes them idenfy their
personal, cognive growth with elaborate planning
and direcon.
Our Mission
Educaon is not just about reading some books and wring some papers or about some subjects that are
learnt and taught in school; it is about overall development of one's personality and character. It's a lifelong
process of moulding and polishing oneself for a greater social responsibility.
Since the New Year, 2021 has cast tremendous fear with the onslaught of the worst pandemic i.e. the
COVID - 19 and with the resultant darkness prevailing all over; it is an immensely giganc task to boost the
confidence of children to grow fearlessly. Model School, Ambedkar Chowk is doing its best through e-
counseling & online studies in bringing up the keen, sharp-edged bubbling learners.
I can't agree more when the late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam avers:

I wish the Principal & staff all the very best in their endeavour to enhance the educaonal excellence and to
tailor the future of our bright young learners.
Darkness cannot drive out darknessOnly light can do that

Childhood is the best me to lay the foundaon of the core values that are essenal for the overall
development of the future cizens of tomorrow.
Model school is a centre of learning for students. It is a progressive school which aims to enrich and empower
young learners by imparng quality educaon, life skills and tradional values. Keeping in mind the rich and
diverse heritage of India, the scholasc and co-scholasc acvies are geared to nurture academic excellence.
The school promotes core knowledge, communicaon, collaborave skills, social sensivity and new
emerging technologies to make students dedicated to exhausve quality learning to meet the ever changing st
demands of the 21 century.
Our school offers opportunies to its students at each and every step. Independent and creave thinking is
encouraged so that the students inculcate the habit of learning connuously and accept 'problems as
challenges and challenges as opportunies in life.' A big lesson learnt by all in this pandemic COVID-19.
The aim of this instuon is to help the students, grow intellectually and ethically to serve the naon and
society. I extend my best wishes to the highly commied Principal and experienced staff members in bringing
up the Modelites to the trade mark of excellence.

Educaon all over the world is undergoing a radical shi. Knowledge is no longer constrained by me and
space. It has expanded beyond the classrooms and school campuses. This very well has been experienced by
one and all during this pandemic, where on-line classes had become the only medium through which teaching
was feasible.
Also, connuous monitoring and evaluaon of the learning environment needs to be done to provide required
intellectual smulaon to young minds. In today's world, how much you know does not maer; applicaon of
the acquired knowledge is the need of the hour.
As a premiere educaonal system, we are known for creang one's own benchmark and elevang ourselves to
higher plans. This pracce has made our school the centre of excellence. However connuous learning,
evolving and effort will never cease.
You would find a wealth of learning opportunies at Model School that would serve as an essenal stepping
stone to a fulfilling life and career.

Every child is like a seed having potenal to grow holiscally; nourished with love, care & guidance.
Here at Model School, Ambedkar Chowk, we not only enlighten the toddlers but open up many avenues for one's
livelihood. This process in our school takes place with a well designed curriculum, providing learning opportunies,
linking knowledge to their experiences to match the rapid changes, connuous modificaon and up gradaon in the
Educaon Sector.
We have introduced a number of skill based subjects from this year to foster confidence, discipline, clarity and decision
making ability to set and achieve goals with interest and movaon. Students here are provided with stress free and
conducive learning environment, as students under stress & pressure become anxious & lose interest in learning. Here
they are given adequate space in classrooms for experienal learning clarity of concepts rather than only rote
memorizing. In our school we have shied from textbook dominated culture to learner centric competency based
culture for massive advocacy and orientaon at all levels for teachers' students and our dear parents. Progressing in
leaps & bounds with a team of sincere experienced administrave and academic Staff; Model school is achieving greater
heights with never to be sasfied with “fairly good”, 'prey good', good enough; but aiming for nothing short of par
excellence.
I am sincerely grateful to the school management for imbibing faith in me by providing a supporve plaorm to impart
quality educaon.
I thank the parents who stand by our side and always share their suggesons in bringing up the instuon to the
pinnacle.
