My Vacation By: Alexia Vega

In the first picture I am with my mom my 3 sisters Jessica, Thais

and Camila. Here I am in Monaco (France), my family and me took a cruise to Rome and France for my dad's birthday.

Monaco is in the French Riviera , it is a beautiful place, it is a place

full of nice people.Monaco is a principality that means it is in France but its independent, although if another country would declare a war against Monaco France would defend it. In the picture we are in the

Queen Grace's garden fountain (Monaco's past queen).The garden is beside the Ocean Geography museum. My opinion about Monaco is that it is a beautiful place with a great Government since it has the lowest unemployment rate and there is no Tax's, streets are super clean people there are super nice and the place is beautiful

In picture 2 I am in Barcelona (Spain) with my dad ,my

mom and my 3 sisters . Barcelona is a beautiful place full of beautiful beaches and Gaudi's Architecture .Gaudi is a spanish Architect who is very famous in Barcelona,He has done many famous works like "La Sagrada familia"it is a huge church with high colums .

In the picture I am in "El parque Guell"with a statue of a dragon in

the fountain made of mosaic inside the park , also a famous park made by Gaudi. "El parque Guell" isn't only a park it is also where Gaudi's house was at. He lived there form the years 1906 to 1926, it is

now a museum. "El parque Guell" is knowed for its mosaic work .The park was build in the years 1900 to 1914 the idea of this park was to

get away from all the city smoke and cars and go to this park since "El parque Guell " is in the mountains, My opinion about this park is that it is very beautiful full of happines and a incredible view of Barcelona .

My Vacation

In my vacation I went horse back riding and I had a great time

being with horses playing with them and riding them. I am

traning with the best trainer of Costa Rica Alejandra González, well

her sister trains me. But I have a great time. In some days

Alejandra is going to train me and in a few months they say that

I can go to a championship and I hope I win because I just started

a few months ago. I had a good vacation with horses even if I had

some problems I had some fun vacation.

My Last Vacations

During my last vacations my grandparents that live in Colombia came to visit my family (my dad, my mom, my 2 sisters and me). They actually came before we had vacations but they left the week after these started. In a They saw me dance in a warm up show that my academy prepared before our departure to New York to compete. My trip to New York was unbelievable. Only 15 people from our dance competition team were chosen to go to this event.

But, there were some awful things that happened during the trip: Some people couldn’t catch the connection of Miami to NYC because some of them were taken to 2nd inspection and some them were like 3 hours waiting in migration. We were super good at the competition and we were with the best dancers in the whole world. I also went last year to this exact same event called JUMP. But this year JUMP and NUVO that were two different dancing competitions joined and made another dancing competition called The Dance Awards (it is called like that because it is the only dancing competition that gives real awards). Of course it was New York and we HAD to go to all of the stores, historic places and eat hot dogs from the street. We stayed in the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in 53rd street and seventh avenue.I really enjoyed my vacations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my vacations in Disney I went to all of the Parks,

they are four the first one is Magic Kingdom the

second one is Animal Kingdom the third one is

Hollywood Studios and finally Epcot.

We also went to a park named Bush Gardens that

one is my favourite one because it haves a lot of

roller coasters in the park. Disney also haves two

water parks named Typhoon lagoon and Blizzard

Beach water parks both are really awesome. In

Typhoon Lagoon you could swim with sharks and

theirs a place where you could play games in 4-D

that’s incredible.

Vacations

In my vacations I stayed here but I did a lot of things. In the first day of vacations my mother broke her foot so we

needed to help her a lot on what she needed. Any way I went to a lot of places. One day I went to my cousins

wedding to the church and the party! It was very fun. We danced. The food was delicious. I was in the table next to

the candy bar do when nobody looked I took some candies. After eating they gave us hats, balloon hats,

necklaces and many others. I stayed there until two of the morning. We stayed sleeping in the hotel so I went to the delicious breakfast. Then I and my other cousins went to

the pool that was very cold. We had fun there. Another day I went to the country club with my cousins and with my

aunt to have lunch. I also went to sleep to my grandmother’s house. We didn’t sleep so much. I went one day to see Harry Potter and it was very good. At the end of

the movie the bad one dies and Harry does not. I also cooked cookies and invited some friends to play to my house. I also played with my cousin Emma. She is very

cute!. I had a lot of fun in my vacations!

In vacations I have two competitions.

One of the competition was for a eliminatory

to see who could compete in the

centroamericanos in panama and the second

was for the national games.

Then i stayed in my house watching tv. The

last week i went to a training camp in cancun.

i went with my friends and my coach. The first

day i rested,the other days I trained in the

morning after that we had lunch, then we

rested a little time and then we trained again.

when we got to te hotel in the night we ate

dinner and rest. The last day we played in the

gym,I came here again on saturday and then

went to school.

My Vacations

The first thing I did was go on a trip to Miami. There I stayed for two weeks

from the 28 to the 11.In Miami I went to the Seaquarium and to the Miami

ZOO. I went first to the Seaquarium, I went 2 times one with my mom and

the other with Isabella Rozados and with Ian Keith. Both times I had lots of

fun and I got to see all the shows. The one that I most like was of the whale

called Lola. She was beautiful and big, and when she jumped all the water

came to us. There I saw sharks, flipper dolphin, normal dolphin, sea turtles

and the sea lions. It was so fun. Then in the zoo it was very fun because we

rented a little car that was like a bicycle only that with a crank very hard and

three seats and a basket on the front and my sister was on the front basket

sat all the time. We saw millions of animals. The other days we went to the

beach or to the mall or stay with my cousin that lives there.

The day after we came from Miami was my birthday so it was on July

twelve. My family and two friends Valeria Gallegos and Isabella Rozados came

during the day and we went to the swimming pool and in the night they both

slept in my house. Every day I went to the swimming pool, invited friends and

stayed in my house. Then the twenty second of July it was my sister named

Maria Jesus birthday and it was like mine she invited all the family and one

friend too. That afternoon we went to flamingo because the mom and the dad

of Manuel de Mendiola invited us to their house in the beach. It was very

funny because me and my sister and Titi his little brother played. Every day in

the morning we went to the pool and in the afternoon to the beach.

In vacation I went to New York and Miami but I will

talk to you of this picture that was from Miami. This

picture was taken in a store that we went for my dad. I

saw that pretty and crazy hat and my sister saw the

one she is wearing but that one in another store. So I

liked that hat so much that I bought it. We love taking

pictures so we took that one. I remember that we had a

lot of fun in that store. Well we have fun in all stores

because my sister and I don’t fight a lot. We are very

together and have good times together. Well keeping

with the topic, in Miami we went on like a trip. We

visited Miami-Naples-Fore Meyers- Tampa- Nasa and

we came back to Miami. I don’t know if I missed

something? Jijiji. Well gotta go Bye.

My Vacations By Alfredo Arias

In my vacations I went to Puntarenas and I liked the hotel of my grandma I played with my brother in the swimming pool. We made friends in the hotel and we became so friends that they came back much longer time. I played in the pool with my brother and with my friends I played in the swimming pool, played pool with them and futbolin. We went to the attractions of Virgen del Mar celebrations. I went fishing 1 time in my vacations. We did not catch anything because the fish were small and they could not get trapped in the metallic pointy thing. I played with my psp. Then the last day we went to San José and we played a little time with our electronic things before going to bed.

My Vacations By Kristine Waugh

In my vacations y went to the beach, y went to the volcán poas with my family and I went to the summer camp on the country club. In summer camp I did hand craft and y learn to play golf and tennis . I win a medal on golf (I win second place) At the beach y swim and make sand castles, and I ate sand castles. We celebrate the birthday of my sister mariel. She turn 8 in the 5 of july. We ate chocolate cake in her birth day. Well that was all of my vacations!

Hello!!!!!! I am Valeria Gallegos De Oña and today I

will introduce you some events in my vacation!!!!!!

Wiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!! OK, enough.

One thing I made in my vacation was to go to my

father’s pineapple farm.

The first day, I went at night to a hotel with my

father named “Selva Verde”, on Sarapiquí. We ate

and slept there. At the next day, we ride on a ATV

all over the farm, like you see in the picture.

There we could see how the trucks grind the

pineapple’s plant that did not served.

Then we went to a forest were we could see lots

of very, very large trees.

At the end, we went to the pineapple packing

plant. There I packed pineapples on the boxes, but

it wasn’t so easy. We had to cut the crown of the

pineapple with the HANDS, not all of the crown,

only one piece. At the end I was very, very tired,

with the hands and arms very scratched because

of the pineapple crown. Even though, I love the

experience!!!!!

Another thing I did was to go fishing near

Tortuga Island because we wear sleeping

there with some friends that are the chiefs of

Tortuga Island’s tourism. The people that

went to the trip were: my dad, my mom,

Yayis, don Fede,Luisa and Desi (the ones who

invited us). We made a type of

fishing named: “Castear”

The only thing we do is throw the reed to the

water and pick the thread again, until a fish gets

in to your reed. We di

d that millions of times!!!!! And guess what? We

didn’t fish ANYTHING!!!!!In 2 hours we didn’t fish

ANYTHING, not even a fish pulled!!!!! But well,

Luisa and I learned how to “castear” and at the

end of the day, we learned something new.

Here is a picture of my vacation. This is a picture of when we went to Colombia to an amusement park. In that park were a lot of attractions and we tried to get into as many as we could. And the one who I like the most was the one that was a water slide. It had a 2 water slides and there was one little and one big. The one that I liked the most was the big because it was very high and because it was the most exciting. But the bad thing is that it was a water slide in a trunk and all the water slashed in your body and we were in Bogota and that is a cold city so when we got out of the attraction it was very, but very cold. This was my favorite part of the park. I enjoyed very much my vacation.

On my vacations happen lots of events and I learned more. The first event was

my best friend Zander went to Canada. That was really sad because we played a

lot and he helped me when I was hurt. The next event was when I entered again to

tennis and on the way to most of the classes I met Ms. Hannia, my teacher from

last year . I like tennis . My mom entered one week ago since she saw me playing

but her arm had been broken. My trainer calls Esteban he is a really nice person

and a good trainer. I also invited to my house some friends, like Pablo and

Alexandra, we played tennis ,soccer, and tag and we had fun. After some weeks

the next event was that we went to Panama. I had fun and yummy food. I visited

the beach and later the Canal and its museum was really interesting. I learned

that Costa Rican’s helped building it. Later I went to Panama Viejo I like it but

looked old but was nice. The next day in Panama we went to the mall and watch

Harry Potter 7. The theater is huge like twice IMAX . Our last day in Panama we

went to the mall, to the hotel in the pool and at night we all went to a

restaurant with a friend of my dad we call him Tito . He is really nice and funny.

Then we went back to Costa Rica and School.

In my vacations I went to Argentina, there I

visited my relatives and many places. Ones I went

to Lujan Church, which is out of the city and it is

the patroness virgin of the country. My

grandfather invited me to the Colon Theatre to see

a contemporary ballet show and another day with

my cousin and grandmother we saw a musical

play called “La novicia rebelde”, it was very good

and we keep on singing many days after the play.

I visited my friends and have fun with them. I

walked a lot doing shopping and bought some

things. I enjoyed very much the typical food, like

barbecue, empanadas, pizza, crumb sandwich,

gnocchi and ravioli. I enjoyed a lot my vacations,

especially with my cousins and friends.

In my vacation I went to many places but Im going to talk to you of one place I went.

I went to Hacienda Pinilla in there we went to the beach club, to the pool and we went horse riding.

One of my most favorite things I did was going horse riding on the trip we saw many birds, monkeys , plats and trees.

In our trip we got wet because it rained while we where riding our horses it was very fun.Then we rode horses in the beach it was very fun.

I really enjoyed my vacation whith my family and horses!!!

I will tell you about my vacation. We went to New York to a jazz seminar and when we had free time we went to see how

was New York because it was my first time there. One day, we went to

the M and M store and saw the huge M and M so went and took pictures

with the statue. After that, we went to Hershey?s World. It was a very

cool day. We also saw a circus called Zarcana, it is part of the Cirque de

In my vacations I went to Italy in Como, Genoa, Emilia, Ovada and I visited Switzerland and Monaco, too. When I went to Como I went in a vacation school where I do a little bit of everything and I have a lot of fun because I make a lot of friends. Then when I went to Genoa and played with my cousin Annachiara and go visit a lot of places that I didn’t know. When I went to Monaco I went to the club Beach where I went to the pool and have a good meal. At the end there were very fun this vacations!

During my vacations I went to Miami with Ian’s family and my family. The first days we went to the beach. The water was cold and the ocean was not deep. Another day we went to the Seaquarium and we met with Maripaz. We saw several shows with dolphins, sea lions and a whale. We had a great time also in a big water slade. We took a picture with the parrots! We also went to the Science Museum. It was very interesting because we could fly airplanes and had lots of different things. That day we ate a really delicious yogurt ice cream for lunch. In our trip we went bowling and I won! We went to the movies and saw “Cars 2” and “Mr. Popper and the penguins”. We also went to Game works. This was a really fun trip and I had a great time.
