The most comprehensive Performing Arts program in
the District.

Students can work in our Black Box Theatre– the only Black Box
Theatre in the District.
Partnerships with CSU Pueblo
National Thespian Convention where student performers are
awarded scholarships to performing arts schools across the
nation!
Air Force JROTC
Our program is the largest in the
state, and we are ranked within the
top 20 in the United States of
America.
We have been awarded ten
Distinguished Unit Awards; which is
the highest award given by the Air
Force to a JROTC unit. We have also earned numerous
Outstanding Performance awards.
Our JROTC program is available to students in grades 9-12th.
Academic course credits apply toward graduation requirements.
There are three areas of focus in our curriculum-

Wellness
PLTW (Project Lead the Way) Project Lead the Way at Mitchell is the only program of
its kind. It is a nationally recognized, accredited program that allows students to become introduced to the bio-medical industry. The students will earn a total of 12 credits throughout the four years of the program, earned through UCCS.
