Yes, t here have been a lot o f changes in the pastfifty years . . . bu t think of what th e next fif ty willbring!

Today's modern homemakers, even in wartime, enJOY t he be ne fi ts o f el ect ri cal hel per s i n br eezi ngthrough their household tasks. And after the war, there willbe many more electric appliances to help usenjoy the home of tomorrow to the utmost.

Narberth was "born" during a decade that is usuallyrefer red to as " the gay ninet ies" . And yet , we thinkthis phrase is a misfit in comparison, with today's electricalliving. Certainly it couldn't be .considered "gay"for women who .had to rise early in the morning, scrub

    BANO

We at Rano's , cannot remember all theevents that have made Narberth a town to beenvied on the Main Line. But we do rememberthe cordia l greetings we received when weopened our beauty salon. We will ever be 'grateful for the kind wishes we received and itis our purpose to continue to prove worthy ofthem.

is with heartfelt pleasure that we greet Narberth 'on the occasion of her fiftieth birthday.

Many of you ca!1 recall when Narberth hadonly two or three stores .. . who bought the firstautomobile . who purchased the firs t radio when thefirst bank was chartered when thefirst theater was' built. These were all milestones in the progress of Narberth.
