A proposi tion of the Philadelphia

Suburban Vv'ater Company whereby

t he Bo rou gh may obt ai n n ine new fire

hydrants without charge due to a re

duction in the rate fo r fire plugs was

accepted. These new hydrants will be

placed in positions designated by the

Fire Chief in conjunction with the

chairman of the Police and Fire Com

mittee.

It was a gallant cOllleback for the

1'1arberth team: but. after all, the rally

was mer el y a ki n t o t ho se fine pell-mell
