Eco-Trail Impact on Campus CommunityAllows students to escape the hectic life of
college to enjoy nature. Our class helped to make the trail a more
appealing and tranquil place to escape to.Picking up litter on the trail provides a more
eco-friendly environment for both humans and wildlife.

HECK Weatherization Project Assist homeowners in the downtown Buffalo
area with energy conservation measures Things we helped out with were weather
stripping, caulking, and hot water pipe and heater insulations.
We worked with a experienced craftsman (Don) who helped us complete required tasks for each house.
Completed 4 houses

What we learned from HECK?There is an extensive amount of people who
can’t afford their heating bill each month in the urban area.
Therefore they look for different ways to heat their home or they go without any heat.

Future “Green” IdeasWe could plant
fruits and vegetables near the trail so Wick could use them for meals.
Or we could donate the grown products to a good cause so someone in need could use them.
