Noah’s Ark Preschool Coffee is brought to you today by Noah’s Ark Preschool. Noah’s Ark opened its doors in 1971 at the direction of the church council, as a community

outreach of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. What began as a part-time preschool program for 3 & 4 year olds has grown to a full-day, full-week program (our doors open at 7 AM and close at 5:30 PM) in addition to the traditional 2 ½ hour per day program. Noah’s Ark is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and has received a 4 star Parent Aware Rating (Minnesota’s highest rating). We currently have 135 students enrolled and 18 staff members. Our mission is to provide the church and community with a Christ centered, developmentally appropriate preschool program for children 3 through 5 years of age. The preschool provides a variety of activities that promotes the intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth of each child. Noah’s Ark depends on tuition and fund-raising to offer a quality program for our families. Stop by and browse our scholastic book fair display. Get a head start on Christmas shopping for the youngest on your Christmas list. TODAY, you have the opportunity to order a lovely wreath, door spray, table top Christmas tree, candlelit centerpiece or other item from our Mickman Greenhouse Holiday Fundraiser brochure. Your purchase of these items helps Noah’s Ark purchase new learning materials and toys for the preschool.

Faith and Fellowship In Luther Hall, 9:55 AM. TODAY, “Weakness from Strength: How God transforms our weaknesses.” How can we look at our problems in a new way? Slides and discussion. NEXT WEEK: On November 6, 13 and 20 we will be gathering in Luther Hall to view the movie “The Starfish Throwers.” The movie explores how three compassionate individuals--a sixth grader from South Carolina, a top chef from India and a retired school teacher from Minneapolis—struggle to restore hope to the hopeless. Each Sunday will include 20 minutes of the movie and 20 minutes of discussion.

Coffee Hospitality Needs You Shari has decided to switch to the supplies person, so we are still in need of a liaison between the servers, ministries and the Group Leader (Deb in the office). Please call the office if you can serve in this way.

Amazing Grays Event Our next event will be on Wednesday, November 16 at the Minneapolis Institute of Art for a guided tour on Martin Luther: Art and Reformation honoring the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Cost is $10 and is limited to 30. Tickets go on sale in the office TODAY.

We’d Like to Know... If you’d like a pastoral visit before surgery or while hospitalized, please let the church office know. Hospitals do not inform us. We’d like to support you with prayer and our presence.

All Saints Sunday Next Sunday in observance of All Saints Sunday we will remember this past year's dearly departed and honor the baptized during 3rdWAY and ReNEW! worship.

Reformation Sunday TODAY we celebrate the 499

th anniversary of the beginning of

the Protestant Reformation, commemorating the October 31 date when Martin Luther nailed onto the Wittenberg church door disagreements with church practice and theology.
