Today we are going to invent our own “menu del día” and because we are

intelligent people we know than to be healthy we need to follow the food

pyramid

This is a food pyramid-to be healthy we need to follow this

Task 1

• Come up with a name for your restaurant

• Come up with a price for the “menu del día”

• Come up with the dishes to be included on your “menu del día”

• Now you are ready to go shopping!

Task 2

for your menu and keep a record of how much everything costs. As part of the project you will have to provide a budget/bill.

Task 3

• Design your menu. Write the names of the dishes and the main ingredients included in each

• You then have to show us if your menu fits in with the food pyramid-after every dish tell us what food group it comes from. Then total everything.

• You have 50 people coming to dinner. What profit have you made?
