Puerto Rico
My ancestor’s came from Puerto Rico. The capital of Puerto Rico is San Juan. The official language spoken here is Spanish. Puerto Rico has palm trees. If I visited Puerto Rico I would like to see the
fort that has been standing there since the 1500s.
Portugal
My ancestor’s came from Portugal which is in Europe.
The capital of Portugal is Lisbon. The official language spoken here is
Portuguese. Portugal has about 10 million people living
there. If I visited Portugal I would go to a Spanish
bull fight.
Cape Verde
My ancestor’s came from Cape Verde. The capital of Cape Verde is Cidade De
Praia. The official language spoken here is
Portuguese. Cape Verde was formed by volcanoes. If I visited Cape Verde I would visit Fogo
Islands.
England
My ancestor’s came from England which is in Europe.
The capital of England is London. The official language spoken here is English. England has a circle of stones called
Stonehenge. If I visited England, I would visit Blenheim
Palace in central England.
Italy
My ancestor’s came from Italy which is in Europe.
The capital of Italy is Rome. The official languages spoken here are
Italian, French and German. Italy has a volcano that can still erupt and its
name is Mount Etna. If I visited Italy I would go to Mount Cervino
which is 14,780 feet.
Ireland
My ancestor’s came from Ireland which is in Europe. The capital of Ireland is Dublin. The official languages spoken here are English and
Irish. Ireland has Newgrange that is 4,000 years old and
there are many prehistoric sites in Ireland. If I visited Ireland I would visit a horse race because
it is important for Irish people. It is called the Irish Derby horse race.
Afghanistan
My ancestor’s came from Afghanistan. The capital of Afghanistan is Kabul. The official languages spoken here are
Afghan, Persian, Pashtu. Afghanistan has some people who live in the
dessert, and sell emeralds and others to different people across the world.
If I visited Afghanistan I would eat food, go to school and play with toys.
Sweden
My ancestor’s came from Sweden which in Europe. The capital of Sweden is Stockholm. The official language spoken here is Swedish. Sweden has some women who wear a leaf hat with
lit candles on it to celebrate Saint Lucia Day. If I visited Sweden I would visit Mount Kebnekaise
which is the highest mountain in Sweden which is 6,945 feet.
