For all of our seaweed and foodie friends!Seaweed Week is the first thing of its kind: Aharvest festival and restaurant week starringkelp! Maine’s top chefs, mixologists, brewersand distilleries are putting native seagreensof all kinds front and center on the menu.

The heart of the festival is Portland (BonAppetit’s Food City of the Year), with eventslike cooking demos, a Fork Food Labcompetition and tours of a kelp farm inCasco Bay. But there are participatingrestaurants and events throughout Maineand New Hampshire.

If you are going to be in the area, youshould check it out, or heck, take a roadtrip, it sounds like it’s going to be anawesome event.
