How We StartedHow We Started We introduced

ourselves and the topic of the day, which was Natural Selection.

We asked and then told the class what Natural Selection was and then asked them to recall the definition after the activity .

All 19 students were eager excited to participate. About 96% of the class participated.

We gave examples of Light and Dark colored Moths and also showed a visual for that.

We also gave them an example with Hummingbird’s beaks as well.

These examples were also asked to be recalled.

We separated the class into four groups, and then passed out our materials so we could get started.

The objective was to see what prey(color bead) got eaten the most with which predator(Utensil).

We asked the students what they thought the outcome would be and here is what they thought!

Pink and White Beads will get eaten the most and will tie.

The Hands and Spoons will work the best
