Group Managing Director’s Message
Dear Stakeholders,
In 2018 the NOJA Power Group exceeded budgeted expecta-tions with significant growth in all regions. This growth was fuelled by the increasing demand for intelligent switchgear by our electricity utility customers to build smarter grids.
Our Brisbane Australia manufacturing campus further increased our daily output maintaining 2 full shifts per day. Our Brazilian manufacturing campus expanded to add a second parallel production line to double the output capac-ity for that facility.
Electricity grids globally are going through significant change and responding to the challenges of integrating large scale renewable energy into the distribution grid. One of the significant challenges is the 2-way power flow of energy on the distribution grid as a result of this new large scale distributed generation. Our products provide the solutions to these challenges to allow our electricity utility customers to continue to develop smarter more automated distribution grids and to operate them as safely and reliably as possible
Our VISI-SWITCH® product is now enjoying uptake after completing KEMA certification and is expected to drive sig-nificant growth for the NOJA Power Group in the coming years. This is a completely revolutionary product offering significant advances in improved environmental impact and operator safety.
Our health and wellbeing program for all of our employees which encompasses health, wellbeing, safety and educa-tion continues to be expanded and we are proud of the results our staff are achieving from this investment.
The quality of our products is critical and we continue to achieve best in class results through our third party accred-ited ISO9001 quality system combined with our third party accredited ISO14001 environmental management system and our third party accredited OHS18001 health and safety management system.
Our research and development activities are yielding new exciting technologies that will continue to keep our prod-ucts at the forefront of technology.
Our continued focus on strong governance throughout our organisation combined with a strong financial capability will continue to drive the success of our business.
We look forward to being of service.
