    Most Reverend Bishop Salvatore

    Matano. Morning snack and lunch

    are included. The cost is $55, $60 at

    the door $15 Students. This event

    runs from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm and

    will be held at St. Jude the Apostle Parish on 4100 Lyell

    Road in Rochester. Any first time, never before

    attended men, may purchase a ticket for $45. For

    of Mercy or St. Brigid Churches.

    Admission includes lunch and the day begins at 10:00am

    to 3:00pm. This event will be held at Our Lady of Mercy

    St. Brigid’s Happenings

    ST. BRIGID’S BOOK CLUB is ready to start reading

    again. We will meet on Tuesday, September 25th at

    6:30pm in the Parish Center. We are reading Ginny

    Moon by Benjamin Ludwig and Perfectly Yourself

    Section 1, by Matthew Kelly. All are welcome to join us,

    even if you haven't read the books. We do serve

    refreshments.

    COFFEE HOUR has been changed to next Sunday,

    September 30th following the 9:00am Mass. Stop by to

    catch up with friends and have coffee and refreshments!

    HOLY NAME SOCIETY ANNUAL

    GOLF OUTING is Sunday, September

    30th at 11:00am at the Churchville Golf

    Course. Please join members of the

    Holy Name for nine holes of relaxing

    golf. There is a good mix of fathers and

    sons and we encourage all men of the

    parish to join us. Door prizes for all and

    cold drinks will be served. A sign-up

    sheet will be at the back of the church or contact Jim

    HOLY NAME MEMBERSHIP: It’s time to sign-up

    for membership in the Holy Name Society. Dues are

    $3.00 for this years membership. Holy Name members

    will be at the rear of the church after Mass to collect the

    fee and check membership information.

    THE HOLY ROSARY is recited a half hour before each

    weekend Mass. Saturday Rosary begins at 3:30pm.

    Sunday Rosary is recited at 8:30am. Please join your

    fellow parishioners in praying the Rosary.

    BACKPACK PROGRAM - The Ladies of Charity are

    sponsoring a food drive for the back program at Byron-

    Bergen schools. The back pack program is sponsored by

    the Byron Presbyterian Church and benefits the students

    of Byron-Bergen Schools who are in need of additional

    nourishment. Please take a slip with a food item,

    purchase the item, and return it to the designated boxes in

    the back of the church or on the table in the church hall

    by October 21st. Thank you for your generosity.

    THE LADIES OF CHARITY will be hosting a “Pot

    Luck” dinner on Saturday, October 13th at 5:15 pm in the

    St. Brigid Church Hall. Bring a dish to pass and plan to

    socialize with your fellow parishioners. There is a sign-

    up sheet in back of church where you can indicate how

    many plan to come and what delicious dish you plan to

    bring. Hope to see you there.

  • GriefShare at St. Brigid's meets this Wednesday, Septem-ber 19th at noon and again at 6:30pm. You are welcome to attend either session and their content is the same. Our topic this week is "The Journey of

    Faith for an extended period of time.

    Anyone who is interested in learning more about their

    Catholic Faith.
