NO PROPHET IS ACCEPTED IN HIS OWN NATIVE PLACE
Jesus was sent to Israel to accomplish God’s plan from the beginning. He was sent to His native place and yet people did not accept Him because of His origin. However, the understanding they knew about Jesus was limited and weren’t aware of Jesus’ pre-existence because He’s divine. Jesus told them, no prophet is without honor even in His own town. Jesus was persecuted because people didn't understand His real identity. His love for them is beyond. In the moment of the crucifixion, He said; Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.
We too experience misunderstanding from people especially when we express our faith in God. Some-times hurtful words will be said because they do not like our faith, beliefs and religious moral values. Howev-er, this is the reality of what is happening in our society. In a place where everybody has a different under-standing of religion and traditions, we need to be strong, just like Jesus and not afraid to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone. The reason we share our faith and express our religious beliefs, is the love of God and to love our neighbor. Our only aim is to help people know the truth and God’s generous love he has for us.
