I hope everyone had a restful and relaxing summer, filled with opportunities to get together and spend time with family and friends. The first day of school is just around the corner and we welcome all our students, those returning and those just joining us. They bring joy and life to our campus! The enthusiasm and energy of the students, parents, and faculty that stopped by to visit this summer are contagious. The vision for our school has not changed. We will continue our focused work with faith-filled and academic programs. Our faculty and administrative team worked throughout the summer designing engaged lessons and attending professional development conferences to plan many exciting and inspiring educational and spiritual activities for our OLOM community. My goal is always to work with you and our faculty to provide your child with the best opportunities of success. I look forward to the coming year and am committed to giving my best to you, to our Church, and to our school. Our theme for the school year is, “Serve one another through love” (Galatians 5:13). God calls each of us to love and to serve. We will focus on this theme throughout the year in our Masses, retreats, and daily prayers. It is always wonderful to see a new year ready to begin, especially now that we have spent one year in our new lower school building and opening, new gym, and field/playground for our students. This allows us to update the old gym for theater performances and assemblies and add 80 parking spots of the north side of campus. I look forward to seeing everyone on campus, volunteering whenever possible. We trust you will continue to work with us as we build on the great foundation of the past and look to a future filled with hope. We remain in great gratitude for your commitment and support of Our Lady of Mercy community. Thank you in advance for your gifts of time, talent, and treasure.
