The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick: If you have a family member at home who is seriously sick or has been admitted to the hospital or is in danger of death, please do not hesitate to call the office so that the office staff can inform the priests. If it is an emergency situa-tion, please contact one of the priests on his cellphone.

Marriages: Appointments must be made six months be-fore the wedding. Couples are required to meet monthly with Fr. Matthew and are also required to attend Pre-Cana Class.

Baptisms: Notify parish office to request baptisms. Par-ents are required to attend a pre-baptism class. Godpar-ents must provide a letter of recommendation.

Our Lady of Mercy Happenings THE 4:30 PM MASS CHOIR invites anyone interested

in joining their group to attend practices on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm in the Church. For more information contact Sam Zalacca at 768-6917.

THE GREAT ADVENTURES BIBLE STUDY-resumes this Tuesday, December 3rd 7:00 pm in the parish center. This is *PA-GHU.

Join us on Wednesday, December 4th for the Catholic truths about Our Lady, the Virgin Mary. Classes will be offered both at 9:30 am and 7:00 pm This is *PA-GHU.

CATHOLIC APOLOGETICS will resume this Thursday, December 5th. at 9:00 am and 7:00pm in the St. Joseph Room. This is *PA-G.

GIVING TREE: Gift tags will be available on the Christmas trees in the Church this weekend. Please consider taking a tag or two from the tree to help an individual or family have a happy and joyful Christmas. Returned wrapped gifts with tags attached NO LATER THAN Tuesday, December 17th. Gifts received later than that date CANNOT be accepted.

TODDLER TIME-Toddlers two years old and older are invited (along with an adult) to play in the parish gym on December 6th, and 13th from 9:00-10:30am. Free of charge! COFFEE HOUR—Join us for coffee and donuts on Sunday, December 15th following the 10:45 am Mass. The students from our Faith Formation Classes will be singing Christmas carols! NEW BEGINNINGS is a social support group open to both men and women who have lost a loved one. We will meet for lunch on Wednesday, December 11th at 11:30 a.m. at the D & R Depot Restaurant on Lake Street, Le Roy. Please bring a $10 gift exchange. Please call Norma Kelly at 494-0301 by Monday, December 9th to make a reservation. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: There will be Eucharistic Adoration on Thursday, December 5th after the 7:30 am Mass. Adoration closes at 6:30 pm with evening prayer and Benediction. Please take a moment to stop in the Church during Adoration and spend some time in prayer.

St. Brigid’s Happenings COFFEE HOUR SIGN-UP SHEETS FOR 2020 are now available at the back of the church. Please consider hosting a coffee hour. Those with questions are asked to call Marilyn Pocock at 494-1188.

ADVENT SALE: LADIES OF CHARITY will hold their annual Advent Sale on December 1st after Mass. Wreath candles, Advent calendars, lapel pins, magnets and ornaments will be featured. Angel ornaments and mini crèches hand made from remelted altar candles are also for sale.

ANGEL TREE: During Advent, the Ladies of Charity will be coordinating the Angel Tree donations. Each angel tag has a gift suggestion along with basic information about the recipient. If you wish to donate, chose a tag from the tree and return the unwrapped item by Sunday, December 15th. Gift wrappers are needed following the 9:00 am Mass on December 15th – all are welcome. Thank you for helping make Christmas special for this family.

SHARE A YARN will meet Monday, December 2nd at 7:00 pm. Bring your mittens, hats, and/or scarves for children to decorate the Mitten Tree.

BOOK CLUB will meet on Tuesday, December 3rd in the Parish Center. We are reading "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer and the second week of Wm. J. O'Malley's "Daily Prayers For Busy People." All are welcome for refreshments and for a great conversation.

COFFEE HOUR follows the 9:00 am Mass on Sunday, December 8th. Please join us for coffee, treats and conversation. Hoping you are able to take a short break in the midst of the holiday rush.

COOKIE SALE!! The Ladies of Charity will be selling home baked goods after the 9:00 AM Mass on December 8Th in the St. Brigid Parish Hall. Please support us by purchasing these delicious treats. THE LADIES OF CHARITY will hold their Annual Christmas Meeting on Monday, December 9th at 7:00 pm at the home of Jan Bausch (39 Rochester St.). Please bring 3 dozen cookies that will be distributed to shut-ins and to those who have lost loved ones this past year. After a brief meeting we will get these platters ready to go. HOLY NAME SOCIETY—The HNS holds their regular meeting on the first Thursday of the month at 7:30PM in the Parish Center. The meetings usually last 45 minutes with a social time that follows. Join us for the planning of fundraisers, facility needs and ministries like the HART program that support the parish community.
