Second Sunday of Lent 17th March 2019 Tati lives in the remote forest of Indonesia with her husband and children. Earning an income working in a local rubber plantation, her Dayak culture has relied on the rainfor-est for generations. However, due to land clearing, many indigenous people are losing their land and liveli-hoods. Through eco-tourism training supported by Caritas Australia, Tati can now afford to send her chil-dren to school. With new hope and commitment Tati aspires to a future free from poverty for her family. Please donate to Project Compassion 2019 and help lift communities in Indonesia out of poverty, and give them hope to protect our common home. Lives change when we all give 100%. You can donate through Parish boxes and envelopes, by visiting www.caritas.org.au/projectcompassion or phoning 1800 024 413. St Brigid’s College 90th Anniversary Mass St Brigid’s College Lesmurdie has great pleasure to invite former staff, students and community members to join with us in celebrating St Brigid’s College 90th Anniversary Mass on Sunday March 31st at 4pm on campus in the grounds of the Mercy Heritage Cottage. Lady of Knock
There were people of all ages, gathered 'round the gable wall, poor and humble men and women,
little children that you called, we are gathered here before you, and our hearts are just the same filled with
joy at such a vision, as we praise Your Name.
Golden Rose, Queen of Ireland, all my cares and troubles cease, as I kneel with love before you,
Lady of Knock, my Queen of Peace.
Though your message was unspoken, but the truth in silence lies, so I gaze upon your vision, and the truth I
try to find, here I stand with John the teacher, and with Joseph at your side and I see the Lamb of God, on
the Altar glorified.
Golden Rose, Queen of Ireland, all my cares and troubles cease as I kneel with love before you,
Lady of Knock, my Queen of Peace.
And the Lamb will conquer and the woman clothed in the sun will shine Her light on everyone
Yes, the lamb will conquer and the woman clothed in the sun, will shine Her light on everyone
The Planned Giving program is an important part of the Parish as it allows us to maintain all aspects of the Church, Presbytery and Parish Centre. In order to keep the Parish viable we must maintain a target of 95% and above each week.
This week’s giving was 82% of the target. Thank you!
