...Message from Msgr. My Dear Family of Our Lady of Lourdes, Happy Feast Day! Thursday, February 11th, is the Feat of Our Lady of Lourdes but the celebration is already well underway! I want to thank everyone who is working so hard at the Festival as well as the whole parish family for turning out and enjoying each other ’s company. Re-member we will close the Festival with the drawing of the raffle winners around 10 p.m. Sunday night. Tuesday evening we will have a special presentation in the parish hall by those who have served at the Sanctuary of Lourdes. I think Fernando will also be there to share how it is possible for those who need special assistance to make the pilgrimage to Lourdes to go – and worth it! Come and find out why! I am convinced that Our Lady is joining us in a very intimate way to this minis-try at Lourdes and that service in the Sanctuary will be something that our parish family will look forward to each and every year. Thursday, the night of the feast, we will celebrate a multi-lingual Healing Mass with the Sacrament of the Sick. Mass will be followed by the Lourdes candlelight procession to the Grotto. The Healing Mass is the highlight of our celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. God has used Our Lady and her intercession at Lourdes to bring healing to His people – both physical and spiritual. She does that by bringing them to her son Jesus Christ. The Sacrament of the Sick is Jesus himself reaching out to touch and heal all who are gravely ill. Please invite all those you know who are gravely ill to join us for the Mass. If special assistance is needed just call the parish office in advance so that we can be prepared. Let us not forget as well those who are caring for the sick. Their generous gift of them-selves is truly an embrace of the cross for the love of another. They too need our prayers and support and the Mass will offer them comfort and strength as they go forward in Christ. I am sure that you share with me gratefulness to God for bringing us together as a parish family with Our Lady of Lourdes as our patroness and guide. May God continue to shower His blessings upon us. Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us. St. Bernadette, pray for us.

...Mensaje del Mons. Mi Querida Familia de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, ¡Feliz día de fiesta! El jueves, 11 de febrero, es la fiesta de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, pero ¡la celebración ya está en marcha! Quiero agradecer a todos los que están trabajando muy duro en el Festival, así como a toda la familia parroquial por venir y disfrutar de la mutua com-pañía. Recuerde que cerraremos el Festival sacando a los ganadores de la rifa alrededor de las 10:00 de la noche del domingo. El martes por la noche tendremos una presentación especial en el salón parroquial por aquellos que han servido en el Santuario de Lourdes. Creo que Fernando también estará allí para compartir cómo es posible para aquellos que necesitan ayuda especial hacer la peregrinación a Lourdes - ¡y vale la pena! ¡Venga y descubra porqué! Estoy convencido de que la Virgen nos está uniendo de una manera muy íntima a este ministerio en Lourdes y que el servicio en el Santuario será algo que nuestra familia parroquial espe-rará cada año. El jueves, la noche de la fiesta, vamos a celebrar una Misa de Sanación Multilingüe con el Sacramento de los Enfermos. La Misa será seguida por la procesión de velas de Lourdes hacia la Gruta. La Misa de Sanación es el punto culminante de la celebración de la Fiesta de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes. Dios ha usado a Nuestra Señora y su intercesión en Lourdes para traer sanación a su pue-blo - tanto física como espiritual. Ella hace eso al traer a su hijo Jesucristo. El Sacramento de los Enfermos es Jesús mismo que llega a tocar y sanar a todos los que están gravemente enfermos. Por favor invite a todos los que conoce y sabe que están gravemente enfermos a unirse a nosotros para la Misa. Si necesita asis-tencia especial sólo llame a la oficina de la parroquia con antelación para que podamos estar preparados. No olvidemos también a los que están cuidando a los enfermos. Su generosa donación de sí mismos es verdaderamente una aceptación de la cruz por el amor al otro. Ellos también necesitan nuestras oraciones y apoyo y la Misa les ofrece consuelo y fortaleza a medida que avanzan hacia adelante en Cristo. Estoy seguro de que usted comparte conmigo el agradecimiento a Dios por unirnos como una familia parroquial con Nuestra Seño-ra de Lourdes como nuestra patrona y guía. ning and other important topics.

The workshop, which will take place on Saturday, February 27 at 10AM in St. Bernadette Hall, is FREE of charge and you are welcome to bring family and friends that can benefit from this information.
