“My son is in the 2’s class this year and he abso-
lutely loves it. He always gets so excited when I
tell him it is time to go to school. He really enjoys
doing the crafts and I love saving them as a keep-
sake. I really like how the Catholic faith is incor-
porated into the curriculum as well.
When we say our prayers at night he always
includes his teachers, Miss Tammy and Miss Carie,
in his special intentions which shows me how much
he loves school and his teachers.” Kelly Morley
Please pray for the soul of Henry Dutt and for the
souls of all the faithful departed. May they rest in
peace in the kingdom of God.

500 CLUB
As you know, we have stopped hosting bingo at the parish center and are in need of a way to make up for
this lost income. Our Parish is very excited to announce the 500 Club! Hopefully you have been hearing
the buzz at Mass and wondering how to get involved. Here's how the 500 Club works:
Only 500 tickets will be sold at $50 each.
Each ticket contains two numbers (from 000 to 999)
Each week for 51 weeks, there will be two winning numbers equal to the Pa state lottery, afternoon and
evening numbers. The afternoon winner will receive $50 and the evening winner receives $100.
On the 51st week, the afternoon winner receives $1,000 and the evening winner $1,500.
The club will begin once all tickets are sold, so please buy your ticket ASAP!
The winner will be notified by their seller and announced on olcchurch.org.
How can you help?
Our parish is looking for 50 volunteers to each sell 10 tickets. (tickets cost $50 each)
Don't think you can sell 10 tickets? Consider buying a ticket for yourself! Just contact one of the parishion-
ers listed below.
Once all 500 tickets are sold, our church will have made a $15,000 profit in just a matter of weeks!!
To sign up to be a seller or purchase tickets, please contact John Przychodzien 717-715-6511,
Darren Hodorovich 484-350-8398, or Jen Kerstetter 610-291-8273.

Great News!
We recently paid another $50,000 on our loan principal, bringing the balance to $110,000! It’s almost hard to
remember that our debt was at $1,600.000 not too many years ago. However, we still need your help.
As you can see, we currently have $34,151 less pledges this year than last year, with 37 less families partici-
pating. If all the families who committed this year fulfill their faith promise (as most have in the past), we are
still going to have a principal balance at the end of the year of over $58,000. Our goal for this Legacy cam-
paign is $160,000. This goal will allow us to completely pay off the principal!
Since we are currently accruing interest on our outstanding balance (something that we haven’t been charged
for many years), it is so important to the vitality of the parish to pay off the principal debt as soon as possible.
So we are asking those who have not yet had the opportunity to contribute to prayerfully consider making a
pledge to this campaign. Help us to finally put this burden behind us to that we can move on to do the work
that the church is calling our parish to do!
If you are able to support Our Legacy Commitment, please contact Mary Wishneski at 610-857-3510 or
[email protected]. Thank you for all of your generous support of our parish!
Legacy III Legacy II Difference
Total Pledged $101,446 $135,597 $34,151
# Family Pledges 145 182 37
Total Pledges Paid $49,705 $127,299
Pledges Outstanding $51,741 $ 8,298
Current Debt:
Principal on Loan $110,000
Past Assessments $115,000
Legacy Bank Balance
(as of 2/17/16) $2,088
Now, it is time to consider what our legacy will be to the generations that come after us.
Let it not be said that it was our generation that was unable to sustain this parish so rich in history,
so vibrant in faith and good works.
