BARCELONA. ALTHOUGH IT’S

INCOMPLETE, THE CATHEDRAL IS

IN SPAIN. IT’S THE MOST FAMOUS

EXAMPLE OF CATALAN’ MODERNISM

INCREDIBLE ARCHITECT, WHO WAS

OPINIONIT’S A WONDERFUL BIG STONE BUILDING. I WAS THERE AND IS SO IMPRESSIVE! WHEN YOU ENTER IT IS LIKE A HIT OF COLORS AND INCREDIBLE FORMS. AND AS I SAID IN THE FIRST SLIDE, ALTHOUGH IT’S INCOMPLETE FOR ME IS, PROBABLY THE MOST INCREDIBLE CHURCH THAT I’VE SEEN. AND FOR ALL THESE REASONS IT COULD BE A SUITABLE PLACE FOR SIGHTSEEING IN ONE OF THE BEST CITIES IN THE

WORLD BARCELONA.

spent a great day there. I could have a

fantastic walk and took lots of amazing

photos.

• I felt very small under those huge trees and I

felt safe and comfortable when I was there, it

was a great sensation.

A BEAUTIFUL PLACE...

By GEMMA

Page 24: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

SETCASESThis little village is a

beautiful place in Catalonia.

It is about 150 km away

from my town, Reus, but it's

a natural place and I love it,

so the journey is worth it.This village is in the

mountains. On a valley.

Also, there are, some

places where we can ski

nearby. So we can have a

good time there.

Page 25: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

This village is like all

the ancient villages.

All the people know

each other and they

are very friendly totourists.

In Catalonia it is "famous"

for its cookies and the

cold meat sausage you

can see in the picture.

Page 26: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

WHY DO I WANT TO SHOW

YOU THIS PLACE?I love this place because

everytime I’ve been there I’ve

had a really good time. I’ve

enjoyed myself a lot so I want

other people to do the same

now. All the tourists visit only the

famous places in Catalonia but

there are a lot of beautiful

places which no tourists know

and are quite beautiful.

Page 27: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

CambrilsCambrils is a beautiful and

quiet town by the sea

Page 28: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

• I’ve chosen Cambrils because it’s where

I was born and it reminds me of my

childhood.

• I like it because it’s a quiet town where

you can relax and have a great time.

COME TO PORTAVENTURA

• I HAVE CHOSEN PORTAVENTURA BECAUSE I THINK

THAT IS THE ONE OF THE BEST PLACES OF FUN HERE

IN CATALONIA. I THINK THAT IS A GOOD PLACE TO

VISIT. IT IS IN SALOU, ONE OF THE BEST BEACHES IN

EUROPE, AND IS NEAR BARCELONA. ITS HOTELS ARE

GOOD AND VERY CONVENIENT BECAUSE THEY ARE

Page 34: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

Serra de Montsant is a mountain range in Catalonia, Spain. It is part of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range. The main peaks are Roca Corbatera (1,163 m), Piló dels Senyalets (1,109 m) and la Cogulla (1,063 m). The Montsant mountain range is presently a Natural Park.

This mountain region gives its name to the Montsant wine-producing area.

Page 35: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

I have chosen this because when I was a child I used to walk these mountains andclimb all the peaks.

telescopes in Spain.

Page 38: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

Page 39: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

THE MUSSARAThe Mussara is a small village located in the Prades Mountains that has been uninhabited since the eighties.

This little town gave the chains the name of Mussara Mountains which are the first peaks of Sierra Littoral, near the coast.

Page 42: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

This road offers you real nature: from rabbits, squirrels, owls to deer and wild boars. The hilly roadway makes a lot of laps around the base of the Mussara, and sometimes, you have the impression you are going to fall in one of the rocky precipices there are, but fortunately, it is not so.

Page 43: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

Since I was months old, every summer I have passed many times by Mussara to arrive my little village called “The Febró”. If the fog is not very thick you can appreciate the most beautiful world’s view: mountains and in the end the sea.

Imagine the Mussara’s view!

Description.Nuria’s valley is a lovely place located in the north of

Catalonia near France, where you can practise a lot ofwild activities such as skiing in winter, hiking, hiring aboat and navigating the lake which is in front of thehotel, which is a beautiful building in harmony withthe mountains that surround it. To go there, you musttake the train as the valley is hidden in the mountainsso it’s not easy enough to arrive in another way.

Page 46: Our guide to special places in Catalonia

Why have I choosen this place?I’ve chosen this place because it means a lot to me. I

went there when I was 6 years old and I had a perfect journey with my dad mum and sister, and I’d like to go back again some day. It’s a nice place and great to disconnect from the daily routine and to enjoy a weekend in nature with people you love.
