Thinking of studying Make Up Artistry? Edinburgh College has a successful, creative department that we’d love to invite you to join! Keep reading to find out more…
Why Make Up Artistry? Make Up Artistry is a massively growing field and there are many possibilities for professionals in the industry. We aim to give our students the edge by combining the tried and tested techniques of the job with the edge of creativity of performance and art. By not being salon based and not focusing just on current glam trends we make sure that our students are prepared for a growing, changing and exciting industry which will challenge and enhance their skills and professional development.
Why Edinburgh College?
The Make Up Artistry department at Edinburgh College is uniquely based in the Performing Arts Studio Scotland, or ‘PASS’, which means that we consider the course to be a creative and technically skilled subject. There are a variety of careers that Make Up Artists can follow and not all of them are salon based, so for those who also want to consider a career in television, theatre, fashion, performance, SFX, design and many other options – PASS Make Up Artistry is the place to study!
“This course has really helped me develop my skills and helped me get closer to
being an sfx makeup artist!”- Pamela Woods, NC Make Up Artistry 18/19
“I would definitely recommend this course if you’re wanting to work as a Makeup artist! There are so many things they
teach you and it opens up so many doors to different opportunities outside of salon
