Tricia Szulewski Tricia Szulewski, RoadBike's Art Director/Staff Writer has been with the magazine since 1999, four years after taking the MSF class to learn to ride motorcycles. With a degree from F.I.T. in graphic design and an avid writer and rider, she considers herself extremely lucky to be able to spend her days combining her favorite passions: art and motorcycles. Trish's job as RoadBike's art director entails setting up photo shoots, retouching images, planning issues and creating layouts, but, as an enthusiast, she also spends a good amount of time researching and writing product reviews, new bike reviews, and motorcycle tour stories. As the only female rider on RoadBike's staff, she makes a special effort to maintain the women rider's perspective in each issue. Trish became an MSF instructor in 2008 so she can share her passion while passing on some of the important tools necessary to keep riders safe. Lesley Gering Lesley Gering is a Mother, Motorcyclist, Journalist, Photographer and an award winning Emily Carr Artist Graduate. Her work has been published in over fifty publications worldwide and her photogra- phy and writing have been published in over a dozen motorcycle magazines internationally. Her “Women and the Art of Motorcycles” photographic series became a calendar with proceeds donated to Breast Cancer research. Lesley's fascination with the machine led her to take courses where she completely dismantled and reassembled numerous motorcycles. Once she began these projects, sponsors appeared, she began test- riding and writing reviews for motorcycle magazines around the globe. Not only is she an expert rider, she knows how to convey this zeal for mechanics and the art of riding into her life. Lesley Gering‟s unique multifaceted approach, her courage to be true to herself and her ability to inspire others evolve from the combi- nation of her passions - art and motorcycling. Pamela Collins

When Pam began her professional journalism career as a radio/television reporter never did she realize her subject matter one day would veer from mundane political and local new beats to writing about the exciting two-wheeled lifestyle. But that‟s because this self-professed news junkie/bookworm never envisioned herself on a motorcycle.

However, after learning to ride thirteen years ago, Pam realized not only did motorcycling provide her with fascinating, exciting personal joys and experiences, but compelling story ideas as well. “It seemed a story appeared around every curve, and I just couldn‟t ignore the reporter in me saying „I have to write about this.‟”

So she did, and has, for the last twelve years, covering topics ranging from travel stories to motorcycle and gear reviews to personality profiles. Pam writes for a number of publications including the nationally-circulated Roadbike magazine, Backroads magazine, Keystone Motorcycle Press, a regional magazine covering motorcycling in her home state of Pennsylvania, WomenRidersNow.com, and others. Pam and her husband Tim (who introduced her to motorcycling) also own and manage real estate ventures in Pennsylvania and Florida. “I appreciate my time on a motorcycle,” Pam says. “Every mile counted on my odometer means a mile that I haven‟t sleepwalked though…I‟ve truly experienced it, and that‟s a gift.”

Debbie is the Production Manager at Thunder Press, the premier Harley-Davidson and American Motorcycle newspaper. Although she wasn‟t a rider when she started with the paper 17 years ago, she had been riding on the back of her husband‟s bike since their first date in 1978. She went solo in ‟94 when she bought a 1972 250 two-stroke Aermacchi Harley.

She currently rides a 1987 Harley-Davidson FXRC, a 1997 Buell M2 Cyclone and a 2006 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. Clearly a Harley aficionado, Debbie covers related events, tests products, and road-tests bikes. “I really enjoy doing [these events] and can‟t wait to do more,” she says.
