CISCO Systems, Inc. is an American multinational company. It’s headquarter is based in
San Jose, California. It deals in the designing and selling of the consumer electronics, voice,
networking , communication technology and services. As the company’s mission is totally
dependent on the needs of stakeholders, hence they hold an important position and place in the
company’s profit and sales. To maintain a healthy and developing relationship with the
shareholders of the company, they should also try to involve the shareholders in the decision
making. It is not that the shareholders require the project details but their views regarding any
new decision of the company is vital.
Nissan was going in loss and thus the CEO of the company decided to follow some
procedure to come out of this. They started manufacturing of Armada SUV, Infiniti QX56 and a
tan truck. For this, they tried to find out the exposures within the company. But Nissan thinkers
did not use any hedging technique in order to reduce these exposures. Nor they did quantification
of the observed exposures. This proves that, Nissan has been highly successful in building a
brand and hence no huge investments in selling and advertisement is required to enhance the
volumes of the company. High Asset turnover ratio also indicates that company doesn’t have a
high level of inventory. There is a frequent sale of their product. They also maintain very less
time to collect their receivables. It helps the company to meet their short term requirements.
Automobile industry is on its gloom nowadays. Almost every second year there enters a
new automobile company. But as one of the famous saying, “Old is Gold”, Toyota has proved its
name in this industry. Founded by Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937 in Japan, now it has a global
automotive giant. The mission of Toyota group of companies is to ‘Produce better cars and
contribute to the society’
