“FAREWELL PARTY”

Objective: 1. To bid a cheerful adieu to the students passing out this year.

2. To make friendship of the juniors & seniors more stronger.

3. To wish final year students good luck for their future.

4. To make their college days life long memorable.

Planned Activity:

Scheduled : Saturday, 18th February 2017.

Timing : 10:00 am onwards.

Venue : College Auditorium

Sponsored by : FY & SY B.Com students.

Theme : “Red & Black Theme”

Lunch : In College Canteen 12:30 pm onwards.

Detailed proceedings:

College Farewell Parties are always an exciting affair & bring alive a lot of happy

memories. Student Council organized Farewell Party on 18th February, 2017 in the

college auditorium where students of FY and SY BCOM bid farewell to the outgoing

students of final year with great enthusiasm & lots of happy memories.

Function started by welcoming the Principal, Committee members and Final Year

students. The girl students were adorned in saris and anarkali dress, the boys

complemented them in formals.

The function started at 10.30am with the welcome address by students which was

followed by the speech of honorable Principal madam Dr. Mrs. Snehal Donde.

Principal Madam in her speech wished good luck to the final year students for their

future. She advised the students to cultivate positive thinking and to do smart work in

order to become successful in their career.

It was followed by words of blessings from Mr. Ketan Malde to the Final Year

students.

First year & Second year B.Com students were the energetic & enthusiastic

emcees of the show. They did formal welcoming of one and all present there.

All the participants were well dressed and were ready to perform.

Programme proceeded with songs, dance performances and to make the

programme more entertaining & engaging game sessions specially designed

for seniors. Game like “Instant Act” was played. Each senior student was

given an interesting task to perform. Another game was “Treasure Hunt”

where group of students were given hints to reach at treasure within

prescribed time. Seniors showed lots of excitement & curiosity while

participating. They enjoyed games session to the fullest.

After games, senior students were felicitated with various awards by Principal

madam and Teachers like Dabang award, Silent girls award, Book worm

award, Bhukad award, Defaulter award, Sporting kidha award, Fevicol group

award, etc.

After awards, seniors were given opportunity to share their experience.

Certain students came forward to share their experience with juniors.

The main highlight of the event was PPT presentation put up by the juniors for

seniors which threw fun & added life to the party as it included past memories

of senior students.

There ended a beautiful day marked with both happiness & sorrow & lots &

lots of love with vote of thanks by emcees.

It was followed by lunch at college canteen. Lunch management was looked

after by hospitality team of Student Council.

All the seniors including juniors enjoyed the celebration. They thanked Head of department,

Staff, juniors for hosting such a nice program that they could cherish lifelong.

The event was successful due to active participation of Student Council members.
