You will find we offer a wideassortment of amenities to better the lives of our residents.Our parks range in size from small neighborhood parks to ourlarger regional parks to suit the needs of the community.
Regional ParksOsceola County Regional Parks offer some-thing for everyone. Hiking, sports, leisure,swimming, and equestrian trails. Whetheryou are bathing on the beach at Ralph V.Chisholm Park or holding a soccer tourna-ment at our world-class Austin-Tindall Re-gional Park you will have plenty of variedactivities to fill up your days.

Austin-Tindall Regional Park and Soccer Complex is a world-classsport complex located on the northeast end of Kissimmee justminutes from Orlando. This premier soccer facility features nine soc-cer fields, a clubhouse with a meeting room and locker rooms, anda concession area with shaded seating. Austin-Tindall has the capa-bility to host a wide variety of sports events from soccer to rugby,lacrosse and flag football.

Mac Overstreet Regional Park, located in South Kissimmee is a beau-tiful 400 acre stretch of undeveloped land. Future plans include a boatramp, picnic pavilions, restrooms and a hiking trail.

Ralph V. Chisholm Regional Park, located on the northeast end of St.Cloud off Narcoossee Road (Hwy 15), boasts a beautiful waterfrontsetting. This scenic park is an ideal spot to picnic or hold a familyparty utilizing one of the many pavilions of varying size. This parkalso hosts the annual Battle of Narcoossee Mill Civil Warre-enactment. Other amenities include electricity, ball field and a vol-leyball area, beach area, boat ramps and approximately two miles ofhiking and equestrian trails.

Community ParksSoftball, Soccer, Baseball or Tennis, you will find your activity available in the community parks throughout the county. The BVL Commu-nity Park offers well-maintained baseball fields devoted to local usage. Archie Gordon Memorial Park has a walking path perfect for keep-ing in shape along with soccer and football fields. The majority of the community parks have playgrounds and covered pavilions. Thecommunity centers around the County offer a wide variety of amenities to county residents such as the Robert Guevara Community Cen-ter, where you can take Salsa Dance classes or Karate lessons. The majorities of the centers offer activities for seniors and can be rentedout for weddings, parties or other types of events. For information call: 407-742-7800
Archie Gordon Memorial Park (Buenaventura Lakes)Located in the highly populated Buenaventura neighborhood,
on Buenaventura Boulevard, this park is well used by communitymembers and local soccer and football leagues. The walking pathis a wonderful resource for staying fit and the playground area isperfect for families out for a fun day. Other amenities include rest-rooms, concession stand and parking.
Buenaventura Lakes Community Park (Buenaventura Lakes)Located in the very popular Buenaventura Lakes Community
alongside the Archie Gordon Memorial Park. Buenaventura LittleLeague calls the ball fields home. This well maintained park includestwo little league fields, a t-ball field, and a senior field. Facilities alsoinclude a concession stand, restrooms and parking.

Deerwood Community Park is located off Laurel Avenue in Poin-ciana and is operated by the Association of Poinciana Villages. Thisfacility offers basketball courts and both baseball and soccer fields.Future plans include development of a cricket field.
Hickory Tree Community Park (Under Renovation) (St. Cloud)Hickory Tree Community Park is located east
of St. Cloud. This facility offersfour practice fields, a conces-sion stand and restrooms. Fu-ture park renovations include therenovation of existing footballfields to multipurpose turf fields,new parking, playground, picnicpavilion and permiter walking trailaround the park.
Holopaw Community Center and ParkHolopaw Community Center and Park located east of St.
Cloud is currently under development. Future plans include 4000square foot community center, sports fields, and playground andpicnic area.
Lake Toho Community Park (Future Park) (Kissimmee)Located east of Kissimmee. This park is currently under de-
sign. Lakefront docks and a boat ramp are currently under de-velopment.

Narcoossee Community Park, located on the northeast end of St.Cloud serves the growing local community. This is a great spot tohave a picnic and family fun. The community center is also a greatspot to hold a wedding, reception or reunion.
Oren Brown Community Park (Kissimmee)Oren Brown Community Park located on the south end of
Kissimmee off Baker Drive is a great facility for sporting eventsand practices. It offers soccer and youth softball fields along witha playground andpicnic facilitiesand hosts the an-nual RebelGames Tourna-ment and localleagues.

Located south of St. Cloud off of Canoe Creek Road and adjacentto the new Kenansville Fire Station, this center offers lunch and ac-tivities for seniors and also acts as a hurricane shelter. The volun-teer community staff plan an annual festival every March and arecurrently working to restore the old, historic schoolhouse. The cen-ter serves as a good location for the rural community to hold fam-ily reunions, special events or community functions. Future plansinclude a playground, improved parking and entranceway.

Partin Triangle Neighborhood Park (St. Cloud)Partin Triangle Park located off Neptune Road between
Kissimmee and St. Cloud is a trail head for the Neptune Recre-ational Pathway. Shaded by trees is a new playground/picnic areaand pavilion. This park also features tennis and racquetball courtsand a boat ramp with access to East LakeTohopekaliga.

Natural Resource Parks/PreservesWhether you are looking for hiking, horse-back riding or nature viewing look no fur-ther than Osceola County’s NaturePreserves. Lake Lizzie Nature Preserve, forexample, offers primitive trails through avariety of habitats leading to the shores of

Equestrian users must use the Old Melbourne Highway en-trance and have proof of Negative Coggins with them at all times.

Neptune Road Recreational PathwayThe Neptune Road Pathway begins at the Kissimmee Lake-
front at Lakeshore Drive and Ruby Street and continues on to the St.Cloud Lakefront at Lakeshore and Mississippi.

Sports Facilities/School ParksOsceola County operates several world-class sports facilities thathost a variety of sporting events and tournaments. Teams comefrom all over the world to hold tournaments and events at our pre-mier Central Florida locations. The Osceola County Stadium, hometo the 2005 National League Baseball Champion Houston Astros,hosts Spring Training each March. The Austin-Tindall Regional Parkand Soccer Complex holds a variety of turf events including Dis-ney’s Soccer Showcase. The Osceola Softball Complex is one of thetop softball facilities in the country winning many facility awardsover the years and is home to the Spring Rebel Games Tournament.The Osceola County Parks and Recreation Department is also inpartnership with the Osceola School District. This partnership al-lows local youth leagues to utilize school fields for practices andgames after school hours.

Osceola County Softball Complex, located just minutes from Or-lando International Airport, sets the standard for such facilitiesaround the country. The complex was the official Eastern training fa-cility for the 2000 Olympic Gold Medal USA Women’s Softball team,is home of the renowned Rebel Spring Games and recipients of the2005 National Complex of the Year Award.

The Osceola County Stadium delivers the ideal combination of ex-citement, convenience and superb facilities. The complex recentlyunderwent an $18.4-million renovation improving comfort andadding state-of-the-art amenities. Truly a major league operation,this facility hosts the National League Houston Astros for springtraining. The Stadium is also host for a number of baseball tourna-ments, clinics, and other events. Situated in the heart of the Kissim-mee area, the Stadium is easily accessible by major traffic arteriesand is convenient to the Walt Disney World Resort and other areaattractions.
