·  New Construction: Actively participating as a team member involved in a major expansion of Horizon's vacuum distillation and diluted bitumen recovery units.

· Contributions include but are not limited to: working with a welder to fabricate piping spools and complete field welds, safely rigging and hoisting pipe with both crane and hand rigging, removing temporary supports and shipping brackets from mods to accommodate the fit up of mod interconnect joints, installing pipe supports, mentoring apprentices, and actively participating in daily tool box meetings as well as FLRA/THAs and weekly safety meetings, etc.

· New Construction: Hydro testing crew.· Responsible for closely reviewing test packages and ensuring hydro tests of many

different sizes and types of piping systems were carried out on time and without incident.

· Regular duties included:Installing/removing blinds, trimming out blinds and vents to accommodate the safe fill/drain of systems and removal of air in the process, running hoses, bolting up and torquing flanges, installing PSVs and gauges, working with QA/QC departments to ensure all test requirements were met and results  properly documented, etc. Also served as alternate foreman when regular foreman attended safety and better supervision courses.

STEAMFITTER-PIPEFITTER Aecon Industrial Western (Suncor Energy) 2014, Aug. - Sept.

· Installed glycol and process (bitumen) piping systems associated with eight new chillers and six new heat exchangers, in a major expansion of Suncor’s east tank farm.

· Duties included but were not limited to: Participating in, and contributing to daily tool box talks and weekly safety meetings. Conducting field level risk assessments, identifying hazards, and implementing the appropriate controls. Preparing field weld joints for welders. Rigging spools/valves for install, and working with both cranes and hand rigging to successfully accomplish the task. Installed Pipe Supports and associated guides/anchors. Bolted up and torqued flanges, conducted hydro tests/blowdowns, walked lines for deficiencies, etc.

STEAMFITTER-PIPEFITTER 2014 Jacobs Industrial Services (Syncrude/Shell Albian /Nexen Long Lake) (contracts: 2009/ 2012/2013)

· Regularly provided maintenance and assisted with new construction projects: MLMR at Syncrude, tank connectivity, natural gas handling expansion and major underground projects.

· CST Twinning project: tying large bore from pipeline to new pump houses.· Fabricated/installed small piping and supports inside pump houses.· Performed maintenance and major turnaround in extraction area and extraction

outage (2009 & 2012).
