For my final idea that I moved forward with, I chose the Stakeout idea. I named my film ‘Code 5’ which is the Police code for a stakeout. I made this decision

because I believe it gave me the most room to present the idea I wanted to in my film. The most room to be creative and include a variety of shots type and

use a range of equipment. Ideas like the conversation between the two partners limits me to very few shots types and only the ability to use a small variety

of equipment when filming. Also, using the stakeout idea forces me to have two different types of characters (Police and criminal) and therefore this gives

me the opportunity to expand my film. This is because it appeals to more people rather just fans of Police films. Having a larger variety of character gives

the audience more types of people to be aware of whilst watching. I am very passionate and have a reasonable knowledge of the Police and therefore it is

easier for me to make a film about Police officers and Police life. I can create a more realistic depiction of what a real stakeout would be like. I can also enjoy and be passionate about my film rather than trying to make a film of another genre and failing to make a good and reali stic final film.
