Each QIDA project is accessed using a unique URL For AAP members, their AAP log-in and password is

used to access the site For non-AAP members, instructions can be

provided on how to create an ID and password to access the site

QIDA has the ability to assign Group Administrators. Group Administrators are responsible for data entry for their entire group.

Users will log-in from the QIDA project welcome page using their AAP ID’s and passwords. The text on the welcome page can be customized to the needs of the project.

There are three main areas in QIDA: Project Home, Workspace and My Group

On the Project Home page, there are 3 main areas: Data Collections Tools, Project Surveys and My Documents

In this section, project data collection tools can be accessed by selecting Enter Data, and the Measure Analysis section can be accessed by selecting Analyze Data.

Once Insert Data is selected, the project data collection tool will appear. Data collectiontools can be programmed for data to be entered chart-by-chart or in aggregate form.

After data is entered and submitted, users will be able to analyze their data.

Once users select analyze data (from the project home), the analyze data window will appear.

Users can analyze data by either viewing a snapshot of current results or by generating real time run charts

In the Project Surveys section, links to external project surveys (i.e., Survey Monkey), can be programmed into the Take Survey button. This allows users to link directly to the external survey from QIDA.

This area is for any user to upload any pertinent project documents they would like to share with the rest of the project (as project leaders have access to them to post to the Workspace). Users can upload as many documents as they wish and they can be any type of format such as a Word document or Excel spreadsheet

On the right hand side of the Project Home, there are system and project alerts. If QIDA is going to be down for any reason, an AAP alert will appear. The Project Alerts can be programmed in for each project. The data collection status is a snapshot of the status of the current monthly data collection

The Workspace area has two main areas: project headers where relevant project documents will be housed and a message board area where project team members can pose questions to other teams and faculty. Up to eight project headers can be used, and customized for project needs.

Users can expand each header to get all project information housed in that particular section

In the Message Board area, team members can post questions for other team members/faculty

For Project Participants, the My Group area will show team members and current status on data collection. Users will have the ability to email their project team if needed.

In addition to being able to view data collection status, Group Administrators will also be able to access the data collection tool and data analysis screen from the My Group page.
