Prep teachers will familiarise children with our school layout and routines. Sessions will include an activity and a morning snack for the children. DAY 1– Wednesday 20th November: 9.00am- 10.30am DAY 2 - Wednesday 27th November: 9.00am- 10.30am DAY 3 – Wednesday 4th December: 9.00am- 10.30am Parents please stay on day 3 for our Information session and morning tea. Open Afternoons Mildura Primary School offers 9 afternoon sessions from 2:15pm - 3:00pm on Fridays. Parents, carers and children are most welcome to come and join in with a Prep classroom. Sessions are: October– 11th, 18th,and 25th November – 1st, 8th, 22nd and 29th December – 6th Please contact the school for further information. Ph: (03) 50 231851 Now taking enrolments for Prep 2020 Welcome back Everyone! Last Thursday was a great way to start our school term. Thank you to all the family and guests who were able to come along and be part of our NAIDOC activities. I would also like to thank the major events committee who worked hard to make the day a big success. Also a massive well done to our dance group who started the day with the cleansing and creation dance. We are all proud of the efforts you put in on the day and leading up to Thursday. Our dance group were also invited to dance and share at Red Cliffs East Primary School. We have had many positive comments made. Thank you dancers. Before and after school supervision We are getting a few students coming to school way before any supervision can be provided. Please be mindful that students should not be in the school grounds without parent supervision before 8.30am and after 3.30pm each day. Breakfast Club We run a breakfast program four days a week for most weeks of the year. Tuesdays are the only day we do not run the program. A reminder that breakfast will not be made available to students before 8.30am and will finish at 8.55am so that students are able to make their way to class and get ready to start the day. School Council Our next School Council meeting is Tuesday 30 th July at 6pm. If you are interested in being part of our school council please come along. David Midgley Principal
