MOVEMENT MATRIX
This indicates the day of the game as well as the number of OGs taking part

This indicates the name of the station.

VERSUS GAMES
• 4 Genres ------ Intellectual, Physical, Wet and Arcade• Each faction will have an advantage at different

VERSUS GAMES• 4 Games are being played for each Genre
• At each station, a piece of paper with a phrase would be given to the OG. After finishing all the games, the OG will have to piece out the phrases to form the entire song, vision or pledge. If they recite them to OICs or AICs of Orientation , they can get bonus points!
EXAMPLE
• Eg. 1st phrase : The Catholic High Student is a 2nd phrase: a leader, gentleman and bilingual
scholar 3rd phrase: of high integrity and robust character 4th phrase: who is passionate about life, learning
and service to others.
VERSUS GAMES
• OGLs are to ensure that the groups are going to the right stations by checking the movement matrix.
• SMs are to ensure that the games are held on time so that delays will be minimised.
PHOTO HUNT
OBJECTIVES
• Find the designated location and take a photo.• Learning of school vision/song
GAMEPLAY• A set of clue cards will be given to each OG at the start of the game. • The OGs are to search for the designated location and take a photo
of the designated location; At least 2 OG members must appear in the photo.
• The OG is also to collect and learn a part of the school vision/song that will be pasted in the area.
• A list of scavenger hunt items will be given to the OG upon completion of the photo hunt or if they are unable to do so by the 1hr15mins mark. Using the list of scavenger hunt items, the OG will have to find the items in order to gain points.
R & R
• Make sure that the OG does not split up• No one is suppose to run• 2 clues can be given by OGL• Do not follow other groups
ROLES OF OGL/SM• Teach them the respective excerpt from the school
song/vision at each station• Get everyone involved• Tell the OG if they are at the correct location• Make sure that the OG does not report back to the
gathering point late• Try to lead them to the correct answer if they are
taking too long(ask questions etc)
SCAVENGER HUNT
OBJECTIVES
• Find as many items as possible in the 45 minutes• Learning of school song/vision
GAMEPLAY• An item list will be given to each OG at the 1h15mins
mark. Once the item is found and the amount needed is fulfilled, the OGL will put a tick beside the item.
• At the end of gameplay, OGLs are to fill in the scoresheet with the number of items the OG has found.
R & R• Do not let the OG split up• Make sure nothing is taken off the internet• Any OG that reports back late (15 minutes after the
game ends) can be disqualified• Each faction will have 5 optional photos for photohunt.• Permission to be asked before taking photo of a non-
participant.
ROLES OF OGL AND SM
• Facilitate the reciting of school vision and singing of school song
• Stir up the OGs interest in the game• Make sure they know that they are suppose to
borrow the items from others• Check that all items are returned afterwards
AMAZING RACE
OVERVIEWThere will be 5 stations in total on each side
Wizons and Cyborgswill be playing on the left side of Bishan Park,
Dextos and Hydros will be playing on the right side of Bishan ParkEach OG will only have to play 5 games in total throughout the whole Amazing RaceStation Masters have to refer to the movement matrix and ensure the correct group is with them.
OBJECTIVES
• Secondary 1s to bond together as a group and to know each other better.
• Know Bishan Park better.• Promote Outdoor activities and a fun learning
experience.
OVERALL GAMEPLAY
• The Amazing Race is a Time-Bound Event.• Points are awarded according to placing. • OG is given a hard clue (by the OGLS) to the stations. If they do not
understand the clue after 5minutes, they are given the easy clue • After completing a station, OGLs immediately give the hard clue to
the next station.• If the OG does not complete the station within 20minutes, SMs have
to stop the game and OGLs lead the group to the next station.

THINGS TO NOTE FOR OGLS• OGLs must ensure that there is full strength for the OG at all
times.• OGLs must ensure that the OG is on the right track and not going
in the wrong direction. If OGLs find that the OG is going in the wrong track, try to give some hints.
• Give water breaks constantly to prevent dehydration or heat stroke.
• If anyone wants to go to the toilet, the whole OG must stay and wait, do not leave anyone behind.

WET-WEATHER PLAN• In event of poor conditions for outdoor activity,
Amazing Race is held at 9 Bishan Street 22.• Gameplay Changes:• Clues lead to a Clue Box, the SMs near the clue box
have to guide the OGs to their station. Due to Lack of space, there would be 4 stations near the same area. Therefore the SMs have to refer to the Movement Matrix and guide OGs.

LAYOUT
GAMEPLAY• Boundaries
• 2 types of boundaries: Base Boundary and Defense Boundary
• Boxes and healers would be located in the Base boundary
• Water bombs to be thrown only from the Defense Boundary, no water bombs should be thrown into the Base boundary.
• Boundaries would be marked by raffia strings and cones.
GAME DESCRIPTION• Resource Raid is a capture the flag style game where each
faction would have to steal all the other faction’s resources, which would be in the form of boxes.
• Each faction would start with 10 cereal boxes wrapped with aluminium foil and the faction that manages to possess all 40 boxes will emerge as the winner.
• Hidden Objective: No faction wins [Task is impossible ]• Plot twist towards the end of the game.
GAMEPLAY• In order to exit the Defense boundary and steal the boxes of
the other factions, players need to form pairs and get a Healer to wrap their hands together using a piece of newspaper.
• To steal a box, a pair must enter the base boundary without getting killed.
• Only ONE box may be stolen at a time.
• Players carrying boxes can only be attacked after they leave the defense boundary.
• If a pair dies while having a box, the box is dropped and all other pairs can take that box.
• No water bombs can be thrown into the base boundary and water guns are not allowed to shoot into the base boundary.
• All players in the base boundary are invincible.
• After a pair has been killed, they can be revived by returning to their base’s Healers to get a new piece of newspaper after 1 minute.
GAMEPLAY
GAMEPLAY• Safety Precautions
•NO physical contact between players at any point of time.
• Water bombs can only be thrown at the hands or legs and strictly not at the head or body.
• 2 First aiders would be stationed at the Grandstand.• Players caught playing dangerously would have a 5
minute time-out at the Grandstand.
OUTCOME• Following the storyline : Plot Twist• Vis would send all his minions ( SLB Secondary 4s )
to steal all resources and laugh at them.• The four factions realise that they have to work
together to defeat Vis
OUTCOME• The station masters and OGLs would then encourage
the Secondary 1s to work together to defeat Vis.• Water bombs and other water equipment would be
used against Vis and his minions. The warlord and his minions would be holding umbrellas as shields and after a certain time, the Warlord is defeated.
ROLE OF OGLSBefore the game• Discuss with OGs on what they want to buy from the shop and inform the Faction Head.
During the game• Assist your Faction with filling up buckets, throwing water bombs, etc.
• If faction is using water bombs up too fast, try to get them to conserve some water bombs.
Plot Twist• Encourage faction to work together to defeat the Vis (Vernon).
ROLE OF STATION MASTERS• During the game• Ensure that all players play safely and send players playing dangerously to the Grandstand for a time-out.
• Act as Healers for the factions.
• Plot Twist• Encourage faction to work together to defeat the Vis(Vernon).
WET WEATHER PLAN
• Played at Hall•NO water weapons (i.e. water bombs, water guns, etc.)• Players to instead stuff their extra shirt halfway into the
pocket of their pants.• If the extra shirt is pulled out by other players, player
whose shirt is pulled out is considered dead.
WET WEATHER PLAN
• Players would have to return the shirts that they have taken to the owners immediately after pulling them out.
• Dead players are to go back to the Base boundary to be revived by the Healers, who would time 1 minute before letting the players go back and play.
• Other rules are the same as dry weather plan
PLOT TWIST (WET WEATHER PLAN)• Towards the end of the game, Vernon would reveal himself
to be the Vis.• Vernon sends his minions (SLB Secondary 4s of 2015) to
steal all the resources of the factions.• PB and CMC Secondary 4 members would surround Vernon.• Each OG is supposed to send 2 players at a time to kill the
Secondary 4s by pulling out their towel(s). Another 2 players can only be sent out when the first 2 have been killed.
PLOT TWIST (WET WEATHER PLAN)• Killed players would return to their faction for a round and
can be sent out again.• After all PB and CMC Secondary 4s are killed, SC Secondary
4s would join in as reinforcements.• After SC Secondary 4s are killed, factions would have to
defeat Vernon.• Vernon is defeated when all his towels are pulled out (10 in total).
THE CONTINUATION
ABOUT• This year, we have decided to scrap the campfire
and turn it into a closing ceremony instead.
• One reason is that we realised it is not necessary to have a campfire, the campfire songs and the fire itself is quite hard to pull of and might not achieve the desired effect.
ABOUT
• One of the main objectives of the campfire is to bring the sec 1 orientation to the end, and the closing ceremony will achieve the effect.
• Will be held at plaza (hall in case of wet weather) as it is easier for iMedia, wet weather plan and can provide for better seating arrangement
