    Japan’s Law to Legalize Casinos:

    Something to look forward to in 2016

    T he very first issue of The Monthly Bet discussed Japan’splan to legalize casino gambling. The arcle centered howthe Japanese parliamentary government—known as theNaonal Diet—sll has not come to terms with this grandscheme, even with the Integrate Resorts Bill (IR Bill)already in place.

    This was what the UBS Securies Asia Ltd. found out in asurvey they conducted last October. A total of 510 respondents took part inthe survey; all of them come from mainland China and areconsidered part of the base mass segment. These aregamblers who, on average, spend RMB 12,000, orUS$1,875 in gaming in every Macau trip.

    that occurred in 2007. It was during this me that Playtech
