Dear Mr,

On the 21.05.1957 at the Land Forces Military Academy sports company

meeting, a unanimous decision was made to form a shooting club of the Military

Academy, with Lesnak Drago being elected as the president. Members of the

club are winners of numerous state championships, European and World cups,

participants in the Olympics and winners of numerous sports awards.

Liutenant colonel Istvan Poljanac was a teacher – instructor in the department

of armmament and Military Equipment at the Land Forces Military Academy.

He was born on April 9th 1967. As a coach of the sports club “Akademac” with

his shooters he accomplished great succes in the military as well as on state and

international competitions. He was recoqnized as an international judge by

shooters from all around the world. After a brief illness, his death in 2013

represented a major loss for the Military academy and shooting club

“Akademac”. The first shooting competition was held in April 2015 with its

purpose to keep the memory of Istvan Poljanac. This tournament has grown into

an international competition in which not only the top shooters of the Republic

of Serbia participate, but many others from different countries too.

On behalf of the Shooting club “Akademac” I have the honor to invite a Mission

representing your country to participate in the 6th International shooting

competiton Istvan Poljanac (ISSF Regulations), which will be held from 03rd to

05th April 2020 at Military Academy in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. Within this

invitation, you will find all necessary administrative details, schedules and

annexes.

2. STARTING FEE

Starting fee is 20e per shooter per events (except for mixed events - 10e per shooter).

3. PRIZES

Competitions are sponsored by CARL WALTHER GmbH Sportwaffen. The prizes for the

winners are medals, trophy and special prizes from sponsors (Walther products - 4x equipment

bags with wheels,5x backpacks and 2x rifle soft bags extra large, gifts, drinks…). For the best

pistol shooter prizes is one WALTHER PISTOL.

3. COMPETITION

The following individual and team competitions will be organized:

The competitions will follow ISSF regulations for shooting. All participants in the competitions

must be entered in the list of accredited competitors, and their entries must be confirmed at

latest during the preliminary Technical Meeting. The competition is not under the auspice of

CISM. The competition is attended by athletes from the following countries: Serbia, Turkey,

Hungary, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia

and more.

The shooting range is in Military Academy (Belgrade).

5. CUSTOMS AND VISA PRODUCTS

Citizens of most European countries do not need entry visas for Serbia. For more information

about passports, visas and required vaccinations certificates for entering to Serbia, please contact

the Serbia embassy in your country.




6. CONDITIONS OF STAY

7. TRAVELLING AND TRANSPORTS

Travelling expenses are at the charge of the missions. The organizer will wait for your delegation

at the Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade. Pick up service will be made at Nikola Tesla Airport-

Shooting range or official hotel- Nikola Tesla Airport the cost is 20,- EUR per person.

8. PAYMENT

Entry Fees and accommodations can be paid upon arrival to the Organising Committee in cash

only (euros) or on Akademac shooting club bank account.

9. REGISTRATION FORMS DEADLINES

Deadline for the Preliminary agreement is March 5, Final entry March 25.

Deadline for the reservations accomodations is March 5.
