A Common European DoP Access Point ??
A Common European DoP Access Point – What is the point and how could it work

MotivationWhy a common DoP-Access Point?
Why an industry controlled DoP-Access Point?
• Centralised-channelled data exchange
• Efficiency
• Compliance
• Greater strength
• Traceability
• Greater potential for future tasks
• Supports a Common Market

only requires an identifiable product-id low cost for the consortium almost no maintenance cost
each participant has to run his own system each system has to comply with the criteria (to be) set by
the Commission each operator has to store data for > 10 a each operator has to take care of the language issue higher risk of errors over all higher costs

The European Common Access Point
• Is an initiative of a group of leading European producers of construction products.
• A confederation is established (in establishment)
– Seat: Maastricht , the Netherlands– All (public registered) European manufacturers of construction products
can apply as member.– DoP data remain full responsability of the producer
• Timeline – Goal setting: – per February 2013 uploading DoP possible– per 1-7-2013 DoP (free) downloadable
we invite construction product manufacturers - small, medium, big –
joining the project
