Ordering MOS Workshop Textbooks

The instructions that follow will help you in ordering your textbooks for the MOS workshops.

Workshop classes have course numbers like a regular class at the University of Louisville. The

table below lists the workshop name that corresponds with the course number listed on the

University of Louisville bookstore Web site.

1. Open your Internet browser and go to http://louisville.bncollege.com/ which should

resemble Figure 1 shown below.

2. Point your cursor at the TEXTBOOKS link as shown in Figure 2 below.

3. Click on the FIND TEXTBOOKS option from the drop-down menu that appears as shown

in Figure 3.

4. The course selection page appears as shown in Figure 4.

5. The default term will display as 4138 FALL 2013; until later in the fall when

4142 SPRING 2014 will display for the spring workshops.

6. Select MOS under the DEPARTMENT column as shown in Figure 5.

7. Select the appropriate course number for the workshop for which you are enrolling.

Refer to Table 1 on page 1 for course ID information. For example, if you are enrolling in

the Microsoft Excel 2010 workshop, you will select 882 in the COURSE column as

shown in Figure 6.

8. Regardless of which workshop you are enrolling, select 77 as the SECTION number as

shown below in Figure 7.

9. Click on the button as shown in Figure 8.

10. The search results will appear on the page as shown in Figure 9.

11. Currently, the University of Louisville bookstore’s web page shows used textbook options

by default. However, because of the customized bundles for the MOS workshops, used

copies are not available. Therefore, when clicking on the SELECT FORMAT option,

select only the BUY NEW option.

Information on next page explains each of the textbook bundle options.

13. After selecting your textbook bundle, click on the button to add

the bundle to your shopping cart.

14. The “Your Shopping Cart” page appears as shown in Figure 10.

15. Click on the button to begin the checkout process.

16. After you click the CHECKOUT button, you have three options: (1) sign-in with a

bookstore account; (2) create a new bookstore account; (3) sign-in with a guest account

as shown below in Figure 12.

17. If you choose the “Continue as Guest” option, you will need to provide the following

information shown in Figure 13.

A. Enter your First Name

B. Enter your Last Name

C. Enter your E-mail Address

D. Enter your 10 digit telephone number

18. Click on the button to continue the checkout process.

19. The subsequent pages require you to choose if you want to pick up the materials at the

bookstore or have them shipped to you. You should consider picking them up at the

University Bookstore in order to avoid paying shipping charges ranging from $6.95 -

$16.95.

20. Follow the instructions on the subsequent pages to pay for the materials in advance of

pickup up the materials.

21. After you pick up/receive the materials, DO NOT OPEN anything until the first day of the

workshop in case you need to return the materials. We reserve the right to cancel a

course series when enrollment is less than 25 participants. Opened items cannot be

returned to the bookstore for a full refund. Also, be sure to SAVE YOUR RECEIPT.
