SecuraAutomationTMSecuraAutomation is a truly magical wireless mesh technology using Z-Wave Plus technology that allows you to control lights, door locks, and thermostats from your smartphone or computer.
A ffordable smart home technology gives
customers the ability to monitor their home in
scenarios ranging from their everyday routine to an
emergency situation.
Using Z-Wave technology, customers can
conveniently provide access to others needing to
enter the home when the homeowner is not there.
With controllable door locks, customers can keep
tabs on kids when they exit or enter the home from
front or back doors, as well as the garage.
Lights can be programmed to turn on or off, depending
on customer preferences. On vacation, customers can
program their lights to coordinate with normal routines
and to present their home as occupied.
Customers program their thermostats on a schedule,
so the temperature is comfortable when at home and
economical while away.
A security panel paired with smart home technology
gives customers sophisticated safety options.
Using an appliance module on the HVAC, when
the smoke detector indicates a fire is in the home,
the HVAC can be programmed to shut off, so as
not to circulate the smoke. Additionally, doors can
automatically unlock, and lights can switch on so
that everyone can safely exit.

Fast ProgrammingThe Fast Program option for SecuraHub is supported in the Dealer Admin Site. Fast Programming lets your installers power through most programming data inputs and lets them get the job done faster. Auto wpsThe SecuraHub provides the ability to connect to a Wi-Fi network easily with the Auto WPS feature. Once the SecuraHub powers on, users press the WPS button on the router to connect the SecuraHub to the Wi-Fi network automatically. If Auto WPS is unavailable, the list of available Wi-Fi networks will pop up on the SecuraTouchTM to manually select your preferred network.
Direct Data Transmission The digital cellular communicator transmits IP data packets directly from the panel over the CDMA or Wi-Fi data network. All of the messages being sent by the control panel are received directly by the Secura Central Station receiver. There is no retransmission or reinterpretation of the information. Direct reporting means a faster response with no concerns about signals not being properly relayed or intermediate communication links failing.
Fully SupervisedYou’re kept fully informed of the system's status. The unit sends full reporting messages including Zones, Areas, and Users, with all names and details included.
Full supervision ensures that the cellular or network communication path is intact and functional.

Receiver 1 & 2 OperationSelect one or two receivers for messages regarding alarms, supervisory/trouble, opening/ closing, and test reports. Send all messages to both receivers or identify one receiver for alarms and second for reports or trouble messages to alert only the proper responder.
Remote ProgrammingRemotely program panels using Secura Remote Link software or the Dealer Admin Site. Upload panel programming, make the necessary programming change, and then download the revised programming into the panel.
On-Board WirelessWith 48 wireless zones, the transmitter options are more than sufficient for most installs. The industry’s only PIRs that are configurable over the air, eight key fob zones or eight wireless outputs including arm/alarm LED, and wireless sirens and relays make
the SecuraHub a perfect choice for residential applications.
False Alarm FeaturesProviding end users with a way to reduce false alarms, both Cancel/Verify™ and the False Alarm Question features prompt end users to validate whether an alarm has occurred after entering their code. In a Home/Sleep/Away or All/Perimeter system, the user can either press VERIFY or YES to manually confirm a valid burglar alarm and an alarm to send to the Central Station.
Home/Sleep/AwayFor residential applications, the homeowner can press one button to select one of three separate system arming options. They can select Home to arm the perimeter of the home but allow for movement within the house. Select Sleep to arm the perimeter and only specified areas inside their home, leaving sensors near bedrooms disarmed. Selecting AWAY fully arms all elements of the system.
Wireless Keypad AssociationA great time-saver for installers, any keypads not associated with another panel are accepted and assigned to the first open keypad address available. Keypads are automatically assigned based upon the order in which they are detected. A maximum of four
keypads may be associated with a panel.
Keypad Shortcut KeysKeypad shortcut keys simplify operation and allow the user quickly to arm, check in, monitor, exit, or reset the system. One-button arming creates the simplest keypad operation available. Use the one-button shortcut keys for common functions or use the ATM-style menu for advanced functions, whichever method meets the user’s needs or level of expertise with the system.
User CodesProgram up to 99 codes. Assign a Standard or Master Authority level to control each user’s level of access to the system, with scheduled and limited users.
Zone AuditThe Zone Audit feature allows the panel to send an alert when the sensor fails to trip within the
specified number of days. This feature helps identify potential sensor problems, including sensors deactivated to bypass faults or blocked sensors.
Zone InactivityWith Zone Inactivity, you can easily monitor a person living alone. If there is no activity on-premise within the programmed number of hours, the system transmits a message to the Central Station. It’s a valuable feature for customers looking after aging adults.
Event MemoryThe SecuraHub logs up to 200 user and system events that you can view at any time through a keypad User Menu option.
Cross ZoningThis powerful, false-alarm-reduction feature allows zones to be cross-zoned and reports alarms only when two or more zones fault within a programmable time
of 4 to 250 seconds. Should just one zone trip, only a zone fault report reaches the Central Station.
Attrition Detection™ Prompts You to Call Your CustomerThe exclusive Secura Attrition Detection feature gives you warning that a customer may be preparing to cancel their monitoring contract. With this feature activated, you will receive a notification if there has been no system activity for the number of days you select.
Field panel updates The Model 400 USB Flash Module allows you to field update firmware for panels that would otherwise require the use of a computer and a Model 399 Programming Harness.

Shield Display Basic arming and disarming have never been easier with the interactive shield icon displayed in the center of the keypad. The shield icon has three main functions. It shows the arming status of the system at a glance. The shield’s animated border will be a solid blue when armed, and the interior will display the type of arming: all, perimeter, home, sleep, or away. Area mode is also supported. When disarmed, the area will be transparent except an outline of the shield. The shield allows quick arming, so the user can press and hold the shield down for 2 seconds and the system quickly arms Away and begins the exit delay. The shield also provides a link to standard arming and disarming options.
When the panel is programmed in Home/Sleep/Away, the user will first tap on the interactive shield to display arming options.
When arming, the exit timer provides a countdown for the programmed amount of time the user has to exit. The timer provides both a visual and audible notification.
Codeless OperationThe built-in proximity device reader operates with a variety of credentials, including cards, fobs and the Secura Prox Patch,
a small, adhesive “button” that users can attach to a wallet, phone, or another item that they usually carry with them. A confirmation tone signals that the credential was recognized and accepted.
Touchpad Control The end user can choose to have an audio confirmation tone each time a screen touch occurs.
LED indicators (Blue and Red) indicate power and armed/disarmed status, including the condition of the battery.
Red Keypad During an alarm state, the shield on the main screen turns Red. The change in color allows the user to instantly recognize an alarm condition, even if the siren is silenced. The shield remains red until reset by the user.
“Is This a False Alarm?” and Cancel/Verify™ In a Home/Sleep/Away or All/Perimeter system, you can Cancel a burglary alarm or Verify that a valid burglar alarm has occurred, or similarly answer whether it is a false alarm with Yes or No. Selecting Verify or Yes manually verifies that an alarm occurred and sends an alarm verification message to the central station.
Attention List After disarming, if an alarm on
any zone or communication problem has occurred while armed, the Main Screen may display a yellow attention list icon at the top of the screen. When touched, the attention list displays the zone and event.
Weather InformationUp-to-date weather information for today and tomorrow will be displayed on the bottom left of touchscreens installed with cell or network connected panels. Network and cellular connected panels will also display the current temperature. If the panel can't support weather, it will leave a blank space on the interface. Eight icons are available to indicate the weather: Sunny, Clear, P-Cloudy, Cloudy, Rainy, Snowy, Stormy, and Foggy.
Keypad Display FunctionEnd users can set screen brightness, tone (frequency) and volume of keypad touches. After tapping the desired function, they can tap the bar graph to increase or decrease each of the settings, for tone, volume, and brightness.
Customize Your DisplayInsert a standard micro SD card in the keypad slot to transfer your dealer logo and dealer profile information to display on the keypad. When pressed, it provides your company contact information.
Universal Programming ToolThe keypad can be used for system programming.
Z-Wave™ SupportAdd up to 232 Z-Wave devices. Control your lights, locks, and thermostats all from the Carousel menu on the Graphic Touchscreen Keypad. Create Favorites to program multiple devices to respond to a single
command or panel event like arming and disarming.
Carousel Menu The carousel menu on the main screen offers functions such as panic, chime, check-in, user menu, fire reset, options, and easy exit™. Panic keys are part of the carousel menu. Once pressed, three icons will appear for Panic, Emergency, and Fire. Easy Exit is only available while the system
is armed. Traditional Secura shortcut keys will also work on the keypad screen.
Power Meters with Z-Wave Smart SwitchesZ-Wave devices that are plugged into Smart Switches can be connected to the panel to provide a meter reading on the keypad. Both instantaneous and accumulative readings are provided.

SecuraMobileTM Customer SetupAdding a user as a “new customer,” the customer will automatically receive an easy-enroll email.
Dealers can invite their customers to begin using this app on their iPhone, iPad, or Android to give them control of their security system. SecuraMobile allows them to arm or disarm, and to check the status of their cellular or network-connected Secura security system from anywhere they have cellular or Wi-Fi service. They can also access any Z-Wave home control device programmed through their SecuraHub and SecureCom cameras.
Area Arming/disarmingFor residential systems that include areas, users can selectively arm, disarm, or check the status of any area from their smartphone with the tap of a button on their screen, enabling them to maintain protection for certain areas while allowing access to only the selected areas.
NotificationsUsers can set alerts by selecting the message category in push notifications. Users can also view the history.
Alarm notificationA Burglary Alarm Push Message displays on a smartphone when
the system goes into alarm. Tap on the message to immediately open the app.
Enhanced Video VerificationThe user can now launch the app directly from the alarm push notification into a screen that has the video camera views available which will allow video verification. The user can respond to the “is this a false alarm?” question displayed within that screen.
Manage UsersUsers have the ability to add, remove, or edit users. Edit user permission as the ‘MASTER’ user.
Faulted ZonesWhen a faulted zone is encountered during the arming process, the system will display an alert message listing the faulted zone(s) and options for Okay, Bypass or Stop. OKAY will force arm the faulted zone. A zone that is force-armed is restored into the system if it later returns to normal. BYPASS will bypass all faulted zones. STOP will stop the system from arming. A bypassed zone remains until the system is disarmed.
SchedulesThis tab is only shown if Schedules are activated by installer programming. Schedules allow the user to program times to auto arm and disarm the system. Users can add, edit, or
delete schedules for arming, area arming, outputs, and favorites.
Control OutputsEnd users are increasingly integrating their control panel with other technology and systems via outputs. Each output can be programmed to appear as a button in the app. Users can control outputs such as watering systems, garage or overhead doors, and lighting by turning them ON or OFF with a slide of their button.
Z-Wave Features with the AppIn addition to the security-related controls provided via the app, users can also use the app’s graphic interface to control any of their installed Z-Wave devices, including lights, appliances, door locks, thermostats, and more.
Z-Wave FavoritesThe Favorites feature lets users program multiple devices to all respond to a single command. For example, the Favorite called “Movie Night” could lock the exterior doors and close the garage door, then adjust the temperature and dim the lights in the family room to the desired level. Favorites can also be placed on a schedule.
With Favorite Actions, panels can be programmed to trigger Favorites upon arming and disarming events.

Z-Wave Rooms with a ViewThe Rooms feature lets users quickly and easily create graphic controls for Z-wave devices in rooms or areas. After taking a photo or viewing a live camera stream on their smart phone, viewers can place hotspots corresponding to one or more
Z-Wave devices available. Then they can select that room from the app screen and touch any hotspot to access the controls for that device.
Video CamerasEnd users can remotely access the Secura wireless interior and exterior IP video cameras via the app. They can select any of up to

All cameras include infrared options and LED illumination for operation in low/no ambient light. Choose a camera with motorized pan/tilt/rotation ability to survey all aspects of the premises.
Image Capture OptionsUsers have the option not only to view the cameras attached to their system, but also to record video to document activity at their premises via Secura Mobile or Secura Web.
