If such verifications take place too close to the deadline for having a drilling consent from the Authorities, it will often be too late and too expensive to conduct corrective actions upfront of spud date. On a company level Operators and Licensees all need to maintain a holistic and sharp picture of the robustness of their organisation, management system and associated processes in a drilling project; from early exploration work through all stages in the drilling campaign. THE SOLUTION AGR has developed a holistic four stage package for assessing the Operator’s state of readiness. For each stage (and as a whole) the “Operator’s Readiness to Drill Assessments” (ORDA) are aimed at providing confidence in the company’s level of control of the drilling campaign.
