Slide-back bedThe slide-back bed set is currently available in two sizes: 2ft 6" and 3ft 0", and all mattress options are available to be used with it. It comes equipped as standard with a heavy duty motor to ensure a reliable long life. This is especially important as the motor performs several functions at once, both raising and sliding.

You can order your slide-back bed set with a mattress containing a 5-point massage unit, massage-capable mattresses being memory, or memory extra foam.

Double Adjustable Beds

Choose from a double or two single base options:Joined single bed basesWe securely clip two single beds together in such a way that you can have the two beds separated in the future. This means they could be used in separate rooms – if for example your partner begins to snore persistently...

Standard double bed baseWe place the two motorised actions into a double bed base. This means you cannot have the two halves separated in the future. (The bed base usually comes in two parts, and the bed is assembled in your bedroom.)

One side powered, one side staticYou can choose to have only one side motorised – ideal if one partner prefers a flat bed. We simply fit a standard bed (static profile) on that side.

Remember to select correct mattress for each side

For double beds exceeding 4'6" widthYour double bed includes two motorised actions and controls, and two mattresses, with the bed base option you choose or 1 motorised side and 1 static side.

We can make up a double bed for you with two touching but separate, powered positioning (profiling) mechanisms – each with all the features of our single beds. They both have their own handheld controls so you can both adjust your own mattress for perfect comfort.

You can both be sure of having enough space, because we can make up motorised double beds from any combination of two single bed widths. The Paragon Bath with screened shower spaceThis aesthetically pleasing design is not only easy on the eye but is so practical too. The curved safety glass screen is matched by the contours of the easy opening door which cannot be accidentally opened once the screen is in position.

An anti-slip floor makes it so safe to step in and then the door and screen can be closed simply by swinging into position. Step 1We will remove and dispose of your existing bathtub and other fittings and your existing floor covering. We will then instal a Level-Dec and connect it to your drainage. Level-Dec wetroom floor formers are the easiest way to create the gradient for efficient drainage in a wetroom floor.They are ideal for wooden or solid floors and are quick and easy to install, with the strength and rigidity to support 300kg.

Step 2Re-surface the floor throughout the entire room with your choice of Altro non-slip safety flooring (huge range). This will seal the room as shown and provide you with a warm, non-slip solution to use safely.

Step 3Provide thermostatically controlled shower, provide seating option (if required). You will also be able to enter in a wheeled showerchair if necessary.

The Original ‘Slide-in Shower’This clever module gives you a really stylish and safe option that can be fitted in just one day and is available in any colour of your choice. This purpose built, slide-in shower has been designed to fit exactly where your bath was!


The Original Slide-in-Shower (no stepping in)Orange Badge’s latest addition – this original concept (another first from us) allows elderly or infirm bathers to easily sit down from outside the shower onto the fixed or folding seat and then simply lift their legs onto the tray before sliding across safely into the shower. This takes away the need and effort to step onto the shower tray.

Because of this simple but effective design, the tray does not have to be recessed into the floor to provide level access, thus saving cost and installation time. It is made to fit directly into the “footprint” of any normal bath from 150cms (5ft) to 180cms (5ft 11ins) length and so installation is straightforward and is normally done in a single day.

The doors have been specially designed in 3 panels so that you have nearly two thirds of the entire length of the shower to swing your legs into the cubicle whilst you remain seated on the ample seat. Whilst the doors are sturdy they are light weight and will glide within their polished aluminium frame with limited effort.

The tray is designed with an effective non-slip surface and a shallow waste so that it can be as low as possible

to the floor for ease of use. The panels are made with a pleasing tile effect that means that there is no need for grouting and, therefore, no grout to become dull and discoloured over the years. Simply wipe the entire panel clean; it couldn’t be easier!

Grab rails can be fitted in a variety of positions to assist the user and even your current tiles may be left in position to help with a speedy installation with the minimum of mess. • Transportable scooters If you think that you’ll need to transport equipment in a car on a regular basis then you should consider machines which are designed to disassemble. They are built to be lighter in weight and simple to assemble/disassemble.

• Conventional 4-6mph scooters – pavements only These machines are designed for regular use from home and used typically for shopping trips, visiting friends, appointments or simply for you to enjoy the great outdoors at leisure. Most of these types of machine are built to provide good levels of comfort and have typical driving ranges on one battery charge of between 15-25 miles. Scooters – 8mph Road LegalYou can drive 8mph scooters (Class 3) on the road as well as the pavement, giving you complete freedom of use.

On the road, you can drive up to 8mph, but on the pavement the 4mph limit applies. Many Class 3 scooters have a switch so you can set your top speed to 4 or 8mph as appropriate.

As you’d expect, these scooters are more sophisticated, more luxurious and are generally larger than 4-6mph scooters.

Scooters: All 8mph scooters should be registered with the DVLA and exhibit a tax disc containing registration number. There is no licence fee payable however.

Ranges and top speeds for powerchairs and electric scooters depend on user mass, terrain and battery condition.

1. GENERALa) These terms and conditions shall only apply to all orders for the supply of goods in the UK whether by

Orange Badge Mobility Services (hereafter known as The Supplier) or its Authorised Distributor or Agent.

b) This order and these terms and conditions shall constitute the entire contract between The Supplier and The Customer.

c) No variation to these terms and conditions by any employee or agent of The Supplier shall be effective unless notified in writing by a Principal of The Supplier.

d) All orders are subject to acceptance by The Supplier.

2. TERMS OF PAYMENTa) In the case of sales financed by the way of loan from a Finance Company, a deposit of 50% will be required

at the discretion of the Finance Company. The goods will be delivered after the credit application has been approved, and any satisfaction notes or documentation required by the Finance Company must be signed.

b) In the case of bespoke or special order equipment full payment must be made with the order.

c) In the case of catalogue sales 100% of the order value will be paid on order.

d) In the case of other cash sales a minimum deposit of 50% of the order value must be paid. The balance payable on delivery.

3. GUARANTEES/WARRANTIESa) The goods purchased are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of delivery against faults arising due to

defects in manufacture or materials. Parts replaced under this guarantee will be covered for the balance of the twelve month period.

b) EXCLUSIONS – In the case of mobility vehicles/wheelchairs the guarantee does not cover tyres, inner tubes, punctures, belts, bulbs, upholstery, motor brushes, fuses or batteries or any other item that may need replacing due to normal wear and tear.

c) Batteries specifically are covered by a limited manufacturers guarantee subject to stringent wear and tear clauses. Any claim under this guarantee will only be settled if tests confirm that the fault occurred directly as a result of a defect in materials or manufacture.

4. DELIVERIES

The Supplier shall use its best endeavours to deliver within the period specified but will not be responsible for any delay due to situations beyond its control.

5. PASSING OF PROPERTY

Ownership of all goods sold shall remain the property of The Supplier until paid for in full.

6. VARIATION TO DESIGN/SPECIFICATION a) The Supplier reserves the right to vary or alter the design/specification of the goods ordered without notice

and at any time prior to delivery.

b) The Supplier undertakes not to lower the specification without adjusting the price accordingly.

7. CANCELLATION RIGHTSThe Supplier agrees to allow The Customer the right to cancel this order provided that such notice of the intention to cancel is received in writing(at the Suppliers address overleaf), within seven working days of the order being placed.

8 STATUTORY RIGHTSThese conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
