Oracle iProcurement
Loved by All: Case
Study
Today’s requisitioning tools are in competition to be user friendly,
efficient, and robust. Why did we select Oracle’s iProcurement over Ariba,
Coupa, and other niche players’ products? It wasn't just because of the
natural integration with our existing Oracle E-Busines Suite 12.1.3
footprint -- our category managers and requisitioners are thrilled with
Oracle iProcurement! This session will profile a collaborative solution that
has maximized user adoption, user productivity, and contract compliance
for realized value.

ORACLE VALUE CHAIN SUMMIT 2015 – PROCUREMENT
Track: E-Business Suite
TIME TITLE ABSTRACT SPEAKERS
Tuesday
1:45 – 2:45 PM
Advanced
Procurement
Strategy and
Roadmap
Procurement is one of the most important contributors to margin and
working capital. When organizations manage only a fraction of spend,
opportunities to improve financial performance are lost. When supplier
visibility and performance are unclear, supply base innovation is limited
and opportunities to deliver superior value are missed. Learn about recent
features, how they benefit critical business processes, and what lies ahead
on the product roadmap. This is the cornerstone session for Oracle E-
Business Suite customers interested in improving the procurement,
sourcing, and finance functions.
Paulo Black, Vice
President, Oracle
Tuesday
3:45 – 4:45 PM
Supplier
Management
Supplier Management is emerging as a critical area of focus for buying
organizations as they look to improve supplier performance, control levels
of risk, and minimize collaboration costs. All too often, a fragmented set of
tools and processes makes it difficult to synthesize supplier information
with the compliance, contracts, CSR/sustainability, relationship, and
performance details needed to unlock supplier value. And without a
focused approach to electronic collaboration, it's difficult to keep
relationship costs in check. Join this session to learn how Oracle’s E-
Business Suite Supplier Lifecycle Management, iSupplier Portal, Supplier
Network, and Supplier Hub improve both efficiency and insight about
suppliers for better performance.
Mark Peachey, Director
of Product Strategy,
Oracle
Tuesday
5:00 – 6:00 PM
Indirect
Procurement
High-performance procurement organizations not only target a high
volume of spend under management but increasingly guide the buying
experience for their users. Recent enhancements to the Oracle E-Business
Suite Advanced Procurement solution help direct users to preferred
catalog content even with dramatically increased catalog variety. The
simple user experience of iProcurement Extensions to Endeca improves
employee adoption, which drives contract savings. Indirect procurement
benefits can be accelerated further by related applications such as Services
Procurement, improving contract utilization and cost savings while
increasing supplier responsiveness to employees.
