This August Ora will award $100,000 in grants to fuel the growth of Kiwi businesses.Is your business in the running?

The Ora Dreams Grant Project fuels the growth plans of businesses running on Ora with grants worth up to $50,000.
Grants are awarded every quarter at Ora Dreams Events held in Auckland.
The next event is Ora4 at the Maritime Room on August 20th

Being a finalist in the Ora Dreams Grant Project gives you:

HOW TO APPLY...
1 - Join Ora and complete your Ora Profile including your business dream.
2 - Enter your business for this round of grants
- Tell your Ora Account Manager or Business Growth Manager to enter you or;
- Register your entry by emailing [email protected]
3 - Submit a Business Impact Statement - In 300 words tell us what sort of impact an Ora Dreams grant worth up to $50,000 could have on your business.
The Judges will review all entries to create a shortlist of finalists.

IF YOU’RE A FINALIST...
We typically announce 8-10 businesses as finalists in the Ora Dreams Grant Project.
If your business is a finalist you’ll be required to produce a Business Showcase video highlighting your story so far, what your growth challengers are today and how you think an Ora Dreams grant worth up to $50,000 would impact your business.
Your business profile and showcase video will be published on the Ora website, on social media shared with the news media.
The judges will review the showcase videos, Ora profiles and business dreams in order to select the winners.

Start your video with My Dream is...
It’s essential your video meets this criteria so we can easily edit finalists videos together for promotional content and the awards night video.
● Duration - 90-120 seconds● Quality - HD in either 1280x720 or 1920x1080● Format - .MOV .MP4 .AVI● Voice over only. No soundtrack or music should be added. You may submit
two videos one with music and one without if you wish.● Using a smartphone to record your video will not produce high quality
footage or sound so we discourage this.
To produce this video you may need to hire a video production company.

THE JUDGES ARE LOOKING FOR
The judges will be looking for Kiwi businesses using Ora who are passionate about driving growth and demonstrating innovative ideas, resourcefulness and positive results and are using a range of media channels to buildtheir customer base.

Showcase Video
- Upload your video to an online storage service like Dropbox or Google Drive and email us the link. We will download it from there.
- Drop off your video on a USB drive into Ora HQ at Level 2, 104 Quay St, Britomart, Auckland.

● Be informative. Tell us relevant things about your business and what
makes it unique.
● Be tangible. Give us a real idea of what you need the grant for.
● Be honest. Let us know the challenges you face so we can help solve them.
● Be believable. Show the judges what the grant will mean to you.
● Set goals. Tell us what you want to achieve and by when.
● Be creative. Try to inspire us with your dream and what your passion is.

To celebrate your achievement and promote your business there will be opportunities to share your story with local and national media.
Ora (and your grant sponsor) will be following your progress and sharing your stories through videos, blog posts and follow up media articles.These are great opportunities to create awareness and build your community.
Ora will work with you to prepare a strategy to fast track your business growth. You’ll meet your Ora Account Manager who will be co-ordinating your campaigns and helping you to get the most benefit from Ora’s Marketing Engine.
