O r a Bella was established in 2002 and has become a reputable and popular restaurant where people
return again and again to sample good food and wine, in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. We strive
to provide variety and good quality at aff ordable prices.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the loyal customers we have met over the years and
extend a warm welcome to those we meet for the fi rst time. We hope to see you again soon!
In celebration of our 10 year anniversary we would like to introduce the launch of our Sunday buff et
lunch, the opening of our sushi bar and a variety of exciting specials.
Over the years we have extended our business to include an underground wine cellar and fi ne dining
venue, as well as banqueting and conferencing facilities. Ora Bella started as one man’s vision and
inspiration and continues to grow and evolve into an exciting restaurant, function and conferencing
venue. There are always changes and improvements happening at Ora Bella but the core values remain
the same.

Information
A variety of venues are available at Ora Bella, from the underground wine cellar for fi ne dinning, to the galleria which is our
biggest venue, to suit your banqueting and conferencing needs.
We provide Ora Bella’s renowned catering in the form of set menus, buff ets, canapes and cocktail platters as well as seven
course, French - based menus in the Cellar.

Venues
The wine cellar at Ora Bella is an elegant, upmarket function venue. Its walls are lined with bottles of superior
wines, the soft background music sets the tone, soft lighting sparkles off the crystal glasses, while silver sous
plates, cutlery and china are set on crisp, white damask table cloths.
The cellar boast a seven course meal. A full bar is available as well as a large variety of wines, sparkling wines and
champagnes.
The cellar is a wonderful venue for wedding receptions, birthdays, special occasions, product launches, corporate
functions, end of year functions and just the place to entertain corporate guests.
Regular wine tastings are held in the cellar, often hosted by the wine makers themselves. These are always well
anticipated, informative and very enjoyable as well as being excellent value for money.
The cellar’s dress code is formal thereby providing the perfect opportunity to dress up. Jeans, takkies, shorts, slip
slops and collarless shirts are not permitted.
Although fully air conditioned, the cellar is a strictly non smoking venue. It has individually controlled lighting as
well as a top of the range sound system.

Bookings are essential.
The seven course French - based cuisine menus on off er in the cellar include the following:
A glass of our signature welcome drink, a choice of two starters, a choice of two soups followed by sorbet, a choice of
three main courses, two desserts and fi nally cheese and biscuits off ered off a trolley. The meal ends with tea, coff ee and
chocolates.

T he Function RoomThe function room is located on the ground fl oor. It is dominated by a splendid chandelier hanging from the double
void domed ceiling which is painted with murals. The focus of the room is provided by a stately fi replace and the curved
staircase leading to the fi rst fl oor. The large windows are lined with rich curtains adding to the warmth of a glowing fi re in
winter, while in summer they are opened to create an inside-outside feel.
Functions of up to a hundred people can be accommodated in this venue depending on the seating arrangements, using
either round, oval or banqueting style and incorporating a buff et station. It is a versatile venue as it can be used as a chapel,
exhibition area, for cocktails or receptions and it provides suitable backdrops for wedding of function photographs.
The Function Room has its own professionally installed sound system.
T he DeckAccess to the 1st fl oor is via the curved staircase or the lift, both of which lead to the fi rst fl oor landing and function
venues. The Deck is an open room with a 180 view of the fi rst fl oor. With its richly polished fl oor and its close proximity
to the balcony it is the perfect reception area. It may also be used as a chapel, a dance fl oor or a buff et station for a larger
function.
T he MezzanineTucked away at the far end of the Deck is a charmingly intimate venue best suited to smaller functions, baby showers and
more. It has a large vista fold window running the whole length of the room that can be opened fully on warm days. The
rich curtains and thick carpet add to the cosy feel. The venue has access to a dance fl oor in the adjoining Deck, as well as
to the balcony through big vista fold doors that provide a breath of fresh air on steamy nights. The mezzanine has its own
sound system. Up to fi fty guests can be accommodated depending on seating arrangements, including a buff et station.
Running the whole length of the building, the Galleria can accommodate up to 200 guests depending on seating
arrangements and dance fl oor requirements. It is situated on the 1st fl oor and can be accessed by stairs or lift. Paintings
hang on the walls, it is carpeted and the ceiling consists of a series of domes, a chandelier hanging from each one. A
variety of lighting options are available, as well as concealed coloured lighting which bathes the venue in a shade of your
choice to suit your colour scheme, or to enhance the mood of your function. An excellent sound system is available. The
interior wall of the Galleria consists of folding doors which can be opened up to provide a view of the domed ceiling, the
Juliet balconies and the grand chandelier.
The Galleria is fully air conditioned.
Seating confi gurations vary according to individual requirement and a dance fl oor is available.
The Galleria can be divided into two smaller venues, or opened up into one big hall.
